I went there for surgery,from the minute I arrived I was made to feel very relaxed from the receptionist to the nurses. Then when I went in for surgery the nurse and the surgeon talked me through the whole procedure. The place was very clean and tidy and I was in and out with in 3 hours. Thanks for all you do here.

I had my assessment in December as was given an appointment for surgery in January. I was treated with care and professionalism at all times

From collection by SpaMedicare transport to care at Colchester hospital I couldn't have had a better experience. Everything was explained by the kindest of nurses and I felt respected and valued at every point. Each staff member was efficient and courteous and I felt completely confident in their hands. I shall have no concerns whatsoever when I return for my second cataract surgery.

I can not compliment the staff enough. Lovely customer service from start to finish. All staff were very welcoming and respectful towards me. They even checked I would be able to get home safely. The environment is very professional and relaxing. Thank you all so much for a great service.

My first cataract surgery was carried out in Colchester in October and my sight has been fully restored. My second surgery was carried out on 3rd December and I am again looking forward (there's a pun!) to having fully restored sight in my other eye. From the moment I was greeted in reception by very friendly and helpful staff (and immediately offered coffee) to the moment I was bade goodbye by the same staff, I couldn't have received more thorough and professional care and attention. Attention and treatment was very punctual, all the team, including the surgeon (a different surgeon from first time) fully explained the various procedures even though it was only six weeks between operations. The surgery took about the same time as before and I was allowed sufficient time to recover before leaving. I would add that the follow-up appointment from my initial surgery was again carried out very promptly, efficiently and in a very attentive manner. I have nothing but praise for every member of staff and the operating team. If my second surgery is as successful as the first in fully restoring my long sight, then I will be more than happy. It's barely two days since my surgery but I have experienced no pain or discomfort. I now await my follow-up appointment when tests will be carried out to establish the success of the operation.

So organised from start to finish, everyone so friendly and efficient. transport arrangements were very good , great teamwork and and excellent result at the end. would certainly recommend. ,

I had procedures for cataract removal. The first, on 22 October, went very smoothly, the surgery taking less than 10 minutes with very little discomfort either during or after the procedure. I was in the clinic for just under three hours. The second, on 12 November, was, in comparison, much slower, with lots of waiting around without explanation. The reason became clear when it came to the operation itself, which took more than twice as long as the first one, with some pain requiring further anaesthetic. I can only put this down to the surgeon, whose technique or competence level was not as good as that of the first one. Having said that, I was impressed with the support staff at both appointments. They were polite, caring, efficient and explained every part of the procedure that they were responsible for.
