I took my elderly father in for cataract surgery and found the whole process professional from start to finish. In particular, the pre-op nurse and one of the receptionists. They were both in contact by phone, putting me at ease and therefore my father. Nothing was too much trouble! - Thank you SpaMedica

I was very nervous but they put me at my ease as soon as I walked through the door. I was treated really well the pre op was very good they made me feel much more confident. The day of the operation was great from start to finish. I was treated with great respect. All the staff were totally professional everything went like clockwork. The surgeon was very polite he explained everything well and made me feel at ease. The surgery was completely painless and I knew what to expect because I was told what was happening. I need my other eye done and I would want SparMedica to do the operation as I have total trust in them. I would definitely recommend them in a heart beat.

Thank you to all for the care from everyone at Coventry Spa Medica, from the very welcoming man as I arrived, and held an umbrella over me as I left to get into the car, to the surgeons and their teams. All very kind and caring. Thank you.

Pre-op assessment done within days of referral very efficient. Staff took time to explain what would happen at each stage of the process. On the day of surgery everyone was extremely supportive and again very efficient. Less than 2 hours from arriving to leaving, very impressive. Actual procedure took about 15 mins, no pain or indeed feeling at all. It's now been 4 weeks since surgery and vision is excellent, I'd forgotten how good it could be. Everything is much brighter and white really is white now, especially noticeable how much more I can see at night. Overall very satisfied with everything SpaMedica has done and can't wait to get my other eye done.

My second operation and it was as efficient as the first and very fast. If you ever need this type of surgery I could not suggest anyone better.

I had cataract surgery earlier this month. I was feeling very nervous before the procedure, however the staff at SpaMedica were wonderful, so friendly and reassuring. It really put me at ease and I would not hesitate to recommend SpaMedica to my friends and family.

When it's something as important as your eyesight you really do want the best. I can honestly say that there is no way in which the staff at SpaMedica Coventry could have been more professional, caring and reassuring. The surgeon, who operated on both of my eyes, was absolutely exceptional and has giving me vision of such clarity that it's like being born into a new world. To anyone considering cataract surgery, I would recommend SpaMedica unreservedly.

From the moment of entering the building, a warm welcome from the greeter and each and every step thru the well laid out steps The professionalism of all the staff was so obvious, that this nervous patient was in good hands. Receiving the date for my first cataracts operation , the step by step of the procedure was excellent and the after care was delivered in depth and was reassuring. The result of the operation 4 weeks later was the restoration of my sight in the right eye was 20/20 vision , absolutely amazing. My next visit on 29 April to have my left eye operation was just the same, put at ease by the excellence of the staff from start to finish. The result of this one has mirrored the first in that 20/20 vision was restored once again. At 86 years old, medically this was the best thing to have happened to me and I shall be ever grateful for the service that I recieved from the NHS and its staff at and by Spa Medica, Coventry, Warwickshire.
