I would highly recommend this practice. Administrative arrangements were excellent and I received first class care throughout the period of my assessment and operation. The Dr who undertook my operation and the nursing staff made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. Post operative advice from the nurse was also first class. 4 weeks on having fully followed the post operative advice this operation has had a tremendous positive impact on my day to day life. Can’t speak highly enough of this service.

As soon as I arrived at spamedica I was met at the door and was took through to waiting room . Then told about what was going to happen at different stages throughout the operation. I was offered a hot drink whilst waiting ,at first I felt a bit apprehensive about the surgery, once I got into the operating theatre the surgeon and staff members put me at ease. I never felt a thing during surgery, apart from liquid in my eye and a little noise. A little music during operation was relaxing. The whole staff from reception desk through to theatre was very professional in all there jobs .I will highly recommend spamedica to family and friends and tell them of my experience. Thankyou to all the staff.

I had my second cataract procedure yesterday at Derby. Eye shield removed this morning, I already have excellent clear vision. Yesterday I was partially sighted with a cataract! And such lovely caring people! Thank you Spamedica!

I would like to thank the staff for the care they took over my visit to spamedica, from first entering the practice they made sure I was put at ease, they took me through the procedure before and during so I knew everything that was going happen, after care was also great, with both eyes operated on I couldn't be happier.

After some restless nights worrying about the cataract surgery every member of staff put me at ease from the moment I entered the clinic. The surgeon put me at ease immediately making me laugh,I couldn’t believe it when the procedure was completed all that worrying seems silly now a great big thank you to all the staff I will sleep peacefully tonight xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Called at Spa Medical for my assessment, I thought they were very thorough and everything went well. Fitted me into have my cataract surgery two days later and I was absolutely impressed with the attention and courtesy given on both my visits. All the staff were brilliant and the surgeon put you at ease throughout the procedure. I could not recommend Spa Medical high enough and will have no worries when I go for my other eye to be done. Thankyou very much to all involved
