From the very first I was comfortable,relaxed and informed about the due procedures.Staff were welcoming cheerful and efficient in all they did.Made me forget why I was there!!

After having to cancel an appointment for surgery after a fall my availability was checked at intervals until I was fit enough to attend. The service was efficient, being handed from one staff member to the next with care. The surgery was explained at every stage with every attention to your comfort. Well done Spa Medica, I was impressed.

Yesterday I had the first of my cataract procedures. Right from the start the staff were very professional and friendly. My appointment was on time and the following procedure was quick and stress free. I can't wait to get my other eye fixed. Many thanks to all involved.

I had surgery to correct cataract in left eye. The service was second to none. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very caring and accommodating. Really great experience under the circumstances. Thank you so much.

Every contact we had with Spa Medica has been brilliantly efficient and helpful. Staff at the Gateshead Clinic were so kind and patient with my Dad. He felt really well looked after and his results are fabulous!

Had cataract surgey on 3 Feb. Very welcoming and friendly from all the staff and practiconers. Was made to feel comdortable all the time at assessment and surgery. Excellent standard and pristine conditions.

Good facilities in a nearly new building. Friendly staff in all roles from reception to clinicians. Medical staff speak and work with reassuring authority. Received excellent treatment. On the negative side, it is a pity that the clinic is not easily accessible by public transport, and the piped music in the waiting rooms is irritating.

I have just had my first cataract operation and cannot speak highly enough of this clinic. My appointments have been quick and stress free. Everything is explained and the staff are polite, helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are okay and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more.

I had my first cataract removed on the 10th of February 2025 at Gateshead SpaMedica all the staff from receptionist to nurses and Operating staff kept me informed all the way and were very pleasant and polite and could not do enough for you. The hospital itself is spotless with comfortable seating and free refreshments i would like to thank all the fantastic staff and look forward to my second operation,

went to spamedica gateshead to have a cataract removed i was really nervous but was put at ease i can see a lot better now just waiting to have my other one done by excellent staff
