From start to finish was a very pleasant experience The stafff made me feel welcome and well looked after The treatment was good and I was told what was happening all the way through out it’s was very good

I was very worried about having my cataract removed, but all the staff were very reassuring, explains the procedure and saying I would be fine. They were right! I need not have worried, excellent staff and treatment, thank you

Lovely helpful and friendly staff, especially nursing and reception. Very very clean Very thankful for free transport provided with friendly and helpful driver.

Thoughout the two procedures and initial assessment the SpaMedica team were helpful, efficient and friendly. I was kept fully informed and I rate the whole exercise as being first class.

Though I informed the surgeon I was very anxious about having my eye cut and a foreign body inserted (despite public relations language of booklet) once I had been laid down and the facial area covered, the surgeon began a running commentary with his assistant, pointing out problem areas he had to take into account, how the cutting was progressing and what could be damaged if errors were made. I was terrified though dared not move or speak. On finishing he told me all had gone well but I told him though I recognised juniors have to be taught, I had found his running commentary very unnerving. He made ebullient public relations style comments and I left to wait outside before having the nurses de-brief me in another room. I had been totally freaked out and when I eventually reached my friend's car, I was trembling and fully aware of what could actually have gone wrong in my procedure. Teaching should be done via the examination of filmed operations, not using anxious national health service patients as guinea pigs.

The staff the front waiting area the nurses and the surgical personal were helpful caring friendly and very professional which made my visit a superb experience.

From start to finish every staff member was kind, caring, informative and very professional. The clinic is bright and a pleasant and well organised place which immediately made me feel I was in good hands. Thank you all for your care and professionalism.
