From entry to exit I was looked after with care and efficiency, I was informed at all stages about the various necessary procedures and warned beforehand if any discomfort was likely. Simple refreshments were provided

From the moment of arriving , until I left about 2 I/2 hours later everyone was kind and helpful. The actual operation was not at all uncomfortable seemed to be over in no time . I was then seen by a nurse who explained the use of drops and swabs and answered any questions I had . Full marks Spa Medica Kendal !

From initial consultation to actual surgery every member of staff (reception staff and medical staff) were professional, but friendly and reassuring in what can be a stressful unfamiliar situation. The actual procedure proved to be painless. From the initial referral to actual procedure it was only about a month. Thank you staff at Kendal Practice.

Four days ago, I received my second cataract surgery in the Kendal hospital. Amazing results! The doctors, nurses, opthalmologists and all the staff were brilliant. The same team as my first time performed my second surgery. I felt very safe and confident. Everyone was friendly and professional, explaining each step gently & thoroughly. The hospital was super-clean, with lots of signs about cleanliness & the ability to wash or sanitise hands, so important in preventing infection. My vision is restored perfectly! For the first time since I was eight, I can see without glasses or contact lenses; I'm a new woman!

My experience was excellent for all visits for my cataracts to be removed and I am delighted with the outcome. I saw a different surgeon for each eye. The process is very efficient and inspires confidence. I had transport which also provided an excellent service. My only poor experiences were trying to contact by telephone. The centralised service answering machine promises a return call “in order” which I tried to use on several occasions and am still in the queue. If prepared to hang on the phone was eventually answered. Overall however the treatment and experience was excellent.

I have no hesitation in recommending this practice after having my first cataract done there yesterday. The whole process, from pre op to surgery was calm, efficient and friendly which helped to allay any worries and concerns. The surgery itself was quick,the surgeon, calm and reassuring , communicating all the way through the process which I personally appreciated. I was back home less than 3 hours after entering the practice with no pain and already feeling my sight was better. A day later and my eye feels like normal and my sight so much clearer and brighter. I am now looking forward to getting my other eye done Thank you SpaMedica

Good and friendly service made very welcome the staff were very good and made you comfortable the surgeon was helpful and made me comfortable and when finished I went to a nothe nurse whe explained what do do after surgery and then I sat down and they made a cup of tea which I thought was a friendly thing to do

I needed transport to &from the hospital which they provided excellent service when I arrived the staff on reception were lovely smiling&reasuring offering me a drink &biscuits .first appointment was to see the optometrist staff &they were brilliant then 4weeks later I had my surgery all the nurses &the doctor talked to me about the surgery and explained the procedure they were brilliant then thankyou so much at Kendal spamedica
