I have had both cataracts removed. I was very apprehensive before attending but the staff are great. The surgeons were both very good and explained what was happening. The op only takes 10mins. My vision is so improved now and I now realise how bad it was before my treatment. Thank you.

Found the practice as prompt, courtese and professional from start to finish regarding my surgery with All personnel playing there part in making me feel at ease and providing full information on the procedure.

Wonderful experience with the surgery and the care of the staff. But sitting in a corridor on a hard chair for three hours listening to loud pop music is not a good way to spend an afternoon. Most of the people at SpaMedica Kendal are old, there are not a lot of twenty year olds having cataract treatment, so why bombard the place with lound, intrusive pop music. Most 70 year olds don't want pop music. At one point I was on the verge of giving up and walking out. Then I was issued into a small room with four comfortable chairs, on a cabinet at the side was a transistor radio pumping out the same music at an unnecessary volume. Minor complaint I know but so annoying over three hours. Having said all that, thank you I can now see to type this. John Cunningham

The practice appears to be run very efficiently and my experience couldn't be faulted from the initial assessment to my surgery a week later!! The surgery itself was very over in 20 minutes. Free parking, friendly staff and coffee tea and biscuits provided. The practice was very busy on both my visits.

Had a cataract removed today, the staff are really nice, they can't help you enough and put you at ease before the operation. I would recommend any person using this service, it is very good.

The staff were friendly theatre staff, very kind and helpful the surgeon Amazing, very good Very impressed with his manner And skill . Totally different from my first experience of my right eye

Supportive friendly staff throughout. Explanations given and nervousness settled. Efficient organisation and the only delays were waiting for eye drops to take effect. A very professional and effective company working for the National Health Service.
