Supportive friendly staff throughout. Explanations given and nervousness settled. Efficient organisation and the only delays were waiting for eye drops to take effect. A very professional and effective company working for the National Health Service.

From the moment someone opens the door and offers tea or coffee the whole process is smooth and efficient. Apart from the obvious waiting time (while waiting for the eye drops to work), I was ushered in to see the various nurses and practitioners, who without fail introduced themselves and put me at ease while they explained their purpose. The surgeon explained carefully what he was about to do and my part in the process. The entire procedure was so friendly and efficient. It was amazing and I am very grateful!

From start to finish it was a great experience, would recommend to anyone. The man that greeted you going in was lovely made you feel at ease with a brew & biscuit. Receptionist’s were great , nurses , surgeons, everyone, cannot praise them enough. Thank you .

This was my second cataract surgery and as pain free as the first. If I had three eyes I'd be having that done as well. All in all a great team of people from reception to the surgeon. Highly recommended!

Whilst I was dreading having eye surgery the process could not have been better. Each member of the team from reception staff, diagnostics, assessment and through to surgical were excellent! I feel I’m in good hands as I undergo further check ups and the second eye surgery. Thank you

I was very impressed with everyone at the hospital. They were all efficient and yet caring. Every stage in the process was carefully explained in layman's terms and I felt I was in safe hands throughout. I am looking forward to having my second eye done.

I've only got one eye so understandably I was very nervous of having cataract surgery, absolutely no need to have worried, the staff at Spa Medica Kendal are fantastic, the medical team and surgeon are brilliant. My eyesight is now amazing, I can't thank everyone involved enough for giving me my sight back. Your all very special people.

I'm never happy with people dealing with my eyes, all the staff were understanding and careful to put me at ease. Any questions were answered promptly in a manner I could easily understand. The surgeon took extra care due to a previous injury, cannot fault any part of my experience
