Most impressed. Firstly for the short appointment time - just two weeks from the optician referral and SpaMedica initial assessment. Followed by about two weeks to my first operation. All of the staff are kind, considerate and attentive. They make you feel as if you are important. The operation was painless and my resulting eye sight amazing. The clinic is clean and tidy. The coffee and biscuits are good too!

At the pre-operative appointment the staff were extremely kind and helpful explaining everything that would happen on the day of the operation. On the actual day, everything went very smoothly and professionally. Everybody from the Surgeon, Nurses, & Receptionists , made me feel at ease, they could not have done more. The facilities were comfortable, relaxing, very clean, and with refreshments provided. I am due to have my other eye done soon and have no worries about returning to this Clinic. to have this done

From first entering Spa Medica everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was explained in detail so I knew what to expect. Very calming atmosphere. Procedure about 10 minutes and all after care instructions very clear. I have had both eyes done and oh what a difference. I can now get my life back on track beginning with driving again something I haven't dared to do in months.

Everything about SpaMedica is great. Unbelievably short wait to see them and then the operation only days later. Wonderful facilities, state of the art equipment and brilliant staff. So friendly and reassuring from the office staff to the nurses, the doctors and the surgeon. The results are amazing and I'm so delighted to have had both eyes done. I'd have been waiting for the best part of a year to get it done at my local hospital trust. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

From the pre-operative appointment the week before, to the day of the operation itself, everything went smoothly. All staff, from the receptionists to the surgeon, were very attentive, polite and friendly; they could not have done more. The facilities were comfortable, relaxing, very clean, and with refreshments provided.

A very good turnaround time from assessment to actually having the surgery. So far since the surgery I have only had minimal discomfort and cannot believe how much of a difference this has made to my sight. I wish you could have this done on the NHS without having to suffer cateract in the first instance to get this done. I will definately be having the other eye done.

From referral to operation only took 5 weeks, as opposed to a 10 month wait for York District Hospital, it would have been sooner but we were away. Everyone was very friendly, helping to ease the nerves.
