I had cataract surgery and was dreading it however upon going to the clinic the staff where amazing , patient and really comforting to help me as I suffer from severe anxiety

Just completed my 2nd eye cataract surgery and wish to take the time to sincerely commend you and all the staff for their kindness, patience and understanding. I was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of all the work undertaken and would not hesitate to recommend you to my peers. Again, many thanks

I was welcomed and all was explained to me, I felt cared for and cared about, I was put at ease and the treatment was quick and comfortable and felt not at all intrusive.

left eye, felt very relaxed Right eye. Felt sharp pain twice, made me very tence felt he was rushing, No bedside manner , Vision poor , rang for advice, asked to give It a few days

From the moment of entering the building the attention from all the staff was excellent.The medical procedure was carried out without any pain and i was impressed with their skill.

This was my second cataract removal in Spa Medica, Liverpool and this review only applies to the second procedure. From reception staff and porters through to nursing staff everyone was so helpful and gave information throughout. However, when the opthalmic surgeon came to ask did I have any questions - he was rushed, abrupt and just wanted my consent form signature. Once beginning the eye surgery his manner was appalling - an almost bullying way of telling you what to do.....There were three nurses in the operating room - everyone tense. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt I wondered if perhaps Spa Medica had scheduled too many patients for him in too short a space of time. Some patients would have been very upset at being spoken to in that way. However I couldn't fault everyone else in Spa Medica and I have had no subsequent problem with my vision afterwards.
