The staff are very welcoming & informative. There is no waiting around & the procedure only took 00 minutes in total. The prescribed after care package was extensive & simple to follow.

From the initial assessment to going back post op. Everything went smoothly. All the staff deserve a pat on the back, totally professional throughout.

I had my left eye cataract removed yesterday and couldn't wait to post an excellent review. Every member of staff was polite and helpful. Every stage was explained in detail so I knew what to expect..The only thing worrying me was that I am resistant to anaesthetics but I need not have worried. The whole procedure was painfree. I am not at all worried about having the right eye done!!

I found SpaMedica Newcastle very well organised. With attention to detail. We were put very much at ease throughout the process. Out appointment were all on time and the process well explained. The surgeon did an excellent job and I am looking forwards to getting the other eye done very soon

From the moment I walked through the door I was treated with compassion, efficiency and professionalism. Everything that was going to happen was explained in detail and any questions I had were answered in an easy to understand way. After the procedure I was taken through what I needed to do in terms of eye drops and how my eye might feel. I cannot recommend any higher. Thank you.

I had a Cataract operation on an eye which suffered a detached retina around 10 years ago, the procedure went very well taking around 20 minutes, I suffered very little discomfort through out the procedure and didn't need to take any pain killers afterwards .

My second eye has been "cataracted" and the improvement is wonderful. My right eye, my dominant one, is now so good that I do not think I have seen so well since I was a young boy. I am looking forward to going to see Stoke City play, when I am confident that I shall finally be able read the numbers on the players' shirts. This has not been possible for many years, even when wearing my regular spectacles. Just wondering how the next kingfisher will appear! Thank you. You are all brilliant.

This was my second eye treatment following first surgery in November 2024. The hospital is very well organised, clean with Friendly staff. The surgery was painless and the results have been amazing. Thankyou

From the first welcome to the wave goodbye the operation is welcoming attentive and secure in all its services. On site for cataract removal on both eyes the pre-appraisal results were discussed at length, followed by a full explanation given by the consultant surgeon as to my needs and methodology to be used. From telephone to procedures everything is clear for a good understanding of all aspects. Staff always available for assistance or advice and the consultants give lots of assurance at ever stage. Cleanliness is a number one issue with all areas immaculate in their presentation. I would highly recommend this facility and its people without hesitation to anyone considering eye treatment here at Newcastle- under-Lyme
