I really didn't know what to expect from this surgery but from the word go I was fully informed of the process at every stage which settled my anxiety. Every one of the staff were friendly and patient so I look forward to getting my other eye done soon

An excellent place to have your surgery: very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and courteous; made me feel extremely comfortable. My procedure was performed on time in a professional and understanding manner; a very Dementia friendly place.

I would like to say a massive thanks to all the staff at spaMedica from the lovely man who greets you at the main door and to the staff at the main reception for my recent visits I had for my two cataract operations I was quite nervous at first but the staff soon put my mind at rest ,I went from the main reception to be prepared for my eye op the staff again were fantastic they explained in good detail what was about to happen in the operating theatre then the surgeon came in and took me to the operating theatre where I lay down at the table and then my new lens was fitted in what seemed like minutes everyone in the theater were brilliant also .I now have had both my eyes done and it feels like a minor miracle my eyesight now is amazing , so are huge thanks to everyone once more.

Went with my wife beforehand and so that give me an opportunity to see how organised and friendly it is after her treatment which was only minutes I thought there will be no problems here excellent treatment and a great result.

Had my cataract removed no problem (treatment very good) got myself all worked up for nothing didn’t feel any pain just looked at a white light day after op just fantastic

Couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience and positive outcome of my cataract surgery. Was feeling slightly anxious but all the staff were so caring and I was kept informed at every stage of the totally painless procedure. The whole team was friendly and efficient and I will have no qualms when I get the other eye done, hopefully in the not to distant future.

Recent experience with SpaMedica in Oldham, has been superb, from the friendly doorman, to the wonderful receptionists, to support staff to the surgeons who operated on both my eyes,the professionalism, and kindness shown to me was simply fantastic every member of staff I met put my mind at ease before my cataract operations, and I'm absolutely delighted at the outcome, and I'll be highly recommending the service to all my friends Visited October 2023

I underwent two cataract operations at this clinic in September and October 2023, i.e. within a relatively short period of time. Before referral in late August 2023 I was told that the waiting list for treatment at this clinic was considerably shorter than at other clinics in my area. That is why I chose SpaMedica in Oldham. All staff at this clinic that I came in contact with treated me in a friendly and professional way. The organisation within the clinic seemed very good. While waiting and observing I got the impression that staff teams enjoyed their work and got on with each other very well. In my view, a good working environment benefits both staff and patients. There is free car parking outside the clinic. My post-op assessments, which each took place approximately four weeks after each operation and at a partner institution, i.e. not SpaMedica itself, confirmed that the treatment was successful. My vision has changed considerably and for the better, which means that now I need not wear glasses anymore except for reading. Communication between me, SpaMedica, and their partner institution was prompt and functioned very well.

visited optician on Thursday received a telephone call Friday and an appointment Saturday.Eye surgery performed 9 days later. Follow up 4 weeks later and then another 4 weeks before discharge. Completely satisfied.
