I have had both my cataracts removed by SpaMedica Peterborough and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Prompt, clean, efficient and friendly, there is nothing that could be improved. I was so happy with them, my husband is now having his cataracts removed there too.

The staff at the Peterborough clinic were very reassuring and explained every step to me. The only downside is the waiting time as there was only one ophthalmologist working when I had the assessment and only one surgeon when I had the operation. The wait time between surgery's seems too long as well

Great communication, friendly, helpful and first class treatment. My only negative comment is on the last visit following the treatment [YAG laser], I was informed the procedure was complete I was taken from the clinic room to the main desk where I was told everything was complete and i could go without any information whatsoever, ie care, follow-up etc.

Very efficient and speedy service that retains a personal, friendly attitude. Cataract surgery completed within 4 weeks of referral from my optician.

Optician referred me to clinic on Monday. Clinic phoned on Tuesday. Pre-op on Friday. Cataract op on following Wednesday. In and out in 2 hrs. Op about 20 mins. Now it is two weeks since referral and my eye is already better than it was. Fingers crossed! Check up due in 3 weeks.

From my first consultation on the 27-11-23 at 15.30 and then laser treatment on the 08-01-24 at14.00 I was very impressed, the staff were really on the ball and very pleasant with eye test and explaining everything and on time. A very pleasant and comfortable place to be. I would certainly recommend SpaMedica to a friend.

I was a little apprehensive about the procedure but was put at ease from the moment I entered the clinic. All of the staff were friendly, smiling and reassuring. I felt confident in their care. I was impressed by the theatre set up and the efficiency of the staff and surgeon. The procedure was quick and painless. Everything was explained clearly. I will be considerably less anxious when I return for my second cataract surgery.

From the start of the initial assessment to completion of the operation was very good. Its a pity that the overall time spent going through all the pre-op processes, takes up so much waiting time.
