I had my second cataract surgery in January. Staff at Spa Medica were courteous and helpful; everything was explained well. In fact I felt that everything was more clearly explained than the first time. All staff introduced themselves which is lovely. The building is immaculate and cleaning staff are in evidence. The procedure was quick and aftercare was explained carefully. Altogether a very positive experience and now that I can see well again I feel that I have a new lease of life. Thank you.

Has a pre assessment appointment and cataract surgery recently. Brilliant organisation with a highly professional staff ie everyone not just the medics. Everything was explained carefully and the care , surgery were first class. Would certainly recommend the clinic and the surgery, results amazing, can’t wait to have my other eye done !

I'm very happy with the service I have received from SpaMedica Peterborough for my first cataract surgery. From the timescale of their response from my referral, to the assessment process, provision of clear high quality information beforehand to the surgery itself, I could not have asked for more.

I was treated with courtesy, manners and professionalism from the first day I came into contact with SpaMedica. The treatment I have had from day 1 is to be quite blunt excellent and a shining light of what you want from the NHS.

It was much easier for me to attend Spamedica as it is so close to where I live. It was a very pleasant, spacious and clean environment with easy parking. Everyone was so kind but at the same time very professional. I was very apprehensive on the day of the operation but again everyone was kind and understanding. All procedures were explained in detail beforehand. After the surgery I was offered a drink and biscuits which were extremely welcome! Although I was given detailed instructions before I went home the Post Cataract Surgery booklet has been most useful. The experience was made as pleasant as possible by the environment and everyone I met there. I have sung the praises of Spamedica to friends and family.

Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.. All including the surgeon explained was going to happen. Took less time than I was told i.e. on arriving I was told that I would be there 2-3 hours but actually all was completed in about 1 hour.

I had my cataract surgery within 4 weeks of being diagnosed. Both pre-surgery and actual surgery visits ran on time. The process was very efficient with little waiting time between each task being carried out. The staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. The whole experience was very positive.
