I was very anxious about my cataract surgery, but SpaMedica were very professional, put you at complete ease from start to the finish of the procedure. Thank you to all the staff, they were lovely from start to finish. My surgeon was fantastic and put me at complete ease. Thank You

The pre-op and the actual procedure all went according to plan. The staff were all friendly and happy to answer my questions throughout. The clinic doesn't even have a particularly medical feel about it (for anyone with a fear of hospitals) until you are in the actual operating theatre. The procedure itself took 10 minutes.

After being referred by my Optician I received an appointment to go to SpaMedica within two weeks. Great service and after attending for the pre-op I was fortunate to be given a cancellation for the next day for the procedure. Both appointments were within the set periods (2 hours for the pre-op & 3 hours for the op) . Staff were all very friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. During the wait for the operation there was a slight delay on the Ward due to an earlier problem but only to be expected in that type of work. My only criticism was that it was fairly cold on the Ward whilst waiting but it was below zero outside. Operation was really quick and I didn’t feel a thing! Thanks to all involved, keep up the good work. No worries now about the other eye being operated on.

Everything from the transport to the operation was faultless, the whole experience was excellent throughout and was carried out extremely professionally.

I have had both my eyes operated on. My experience at Spa Medica Preston, was excellent. All the staff were professional, friendly, caring, efficient and very helpful and reassuring. I felt totally at ease with the whole process. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, the staff were all so pleasant and helpful the facilities were superb. I would not hesitate to recommend it. 5 stars

I was assessed and treated within one week. I was given excellent care when I was assessed for treatment. On thr day of treatment the level of care was excellent. The reception staff looked after me. The Nurses and Surgeon were provided excellent care in the day. I was discharged and was given post surgery advice and was treated with dignity and excellent care during that process. I was really impressed with the team at SpaMedica at Preston.

I was nervous about having a cataract removed but was impressed by the skill of the staff at the consultation. I was nervous again before the operation but now I can say that all the staff are very caring and able and thorough. I am delighted with the process and the outcome

from initial assessment to procedure everyone was friendly and explained what would happen. the surgeon was very attentive and gave running commentary throughout the procedure and checking that I was ok. Theatre staff were friendly and supportive, jamie provided clear after care instructions. I was made to feel important with everyone even though they went through the same produce all day with others. Highly recommend

I had my second cataract removed here and all I can say is I received outstanding service again, all the way through from the doorman, the nurses, registrar and the surgeon. The surgery was done in no time. My underlying conditions were taken into consideration and I was put at ease all the way through as well. I highly recommend this hospital. Thank you for both my cataract surgeries.
