Was well looked after from start to finish of my treatment, communication was very good no confusion at all and the surgeon who did my treatment was very friendly and explained all that was going during the procedure I’m very grateful for the treatment I received and can’t thank you enough

At a recent appointment with my optician I was told I needed to have surgery for a Cataract and was referred to Spa Medica Romford. I was contacted by Spa Medica within less than 1 week and an appointment was made for a pre operation assessment. This all went very well and was given a surgery time and date for just 2 days later. Every member of staff at Spa Medica were very professional and clearly explained the process of the procedure. Its fair to say that I was somewhat anxious and apprehensive about having this procedure but reassurance was given at every level that it really isn't anything to worry about and how right they were. From my initial optician appointment to the operation being completed was less than 3 weeks. Its now a week after my surgery and the results are outstanding. At some point in the future I will need to return for the other eye and will have no hesitation in using Spa Medica Romford. Very well done and thank you.

From reception staff, nurses and consultants,found them all friendly and professional. Put me completely at ease. Surgery was quick. Excellent service. Could not of been better.

I had my second cataract operation this week and have to commend every person I dealt with from the porter to the surgeon they were so kind and considerate from start to finish. I would recommend this hospital to anyone , thank you.

Exemplary practice. An example of how every healthcare service should function. The medical and administrative staff are extremely professional and courteous. The procedure was explained clearly and carried out effectively. They even provide free tea, coffee and biscuits!

From going through the door, everything was a pleasant experience, the service I got was second to none , everything was explained clearly and patiently, everything was made comfortable,I had no worry’s at all , cannot not wait for the second eye to be done.

From the friendly phone call to invite me for an assessment to the actual surgery, everyone was professional but still pleasant. Staff had time for me, explaining everything and answering questions. The actual procedure is so simple and painless. I honestly couldn't believe that I didn't feel anything during the operation, and that my eye just felt a bit gritty afterwards. I was only at the hospital for about two hours on surgery day but the difference to my vision is amazing. A close friend had both eyes done at SpaMedica in Chelmsford and her experience was equally positive.

Today was my second cataract operation at Romford Spa Medica. Both experiences were equal in professionalism and. Each member of the team showed excellent consideration and care. I felt completely at ease and felt I was given as much information as I needed. I would - and have - recommend this hospital to anyone who asked.

I was referred to Spa Medica for my cataracts, and have had 2 assessments prior to my first surgery on 23rd January. Every single person I have dealt with, from the phone call from someone to book my initial assessment, to the actual day of the operation have been kind, helpful and considerate. Thank you to everyone.
