Because I suffered oedemas and blurring, this treatment for two eyes lasted more than seven months. Some of that time was waiting for the next appointment after going back to my optician, so the process could have been perhaps 6 weeks shorter. Finally, with repeated drops treatment and a final laser treatment on one eye, I have pretty good sight. The processes at SpaMedica were always smooth and efficient, and I had no complaint about them at all. Possibly the only criticism is that, immediately after the first eye was operated on, I was asked to provide a review. It was obviously far too soon for that!

I was very nervous & worried about having my eye op for cataracts, there was no need. The staff were lovely, very helpful & kind & it was all done & dusted in a very short time. My sight has improved immensely, I'd forgotten how beautiful the colours of our wonderful countryside are. Thank you

I had the cataract on my right eye removed. The pre-op assessment took quite a long time, but was careful and thorough. I found the optometrist's explanation a bit quick and had to phone back later to get a clear picture of the lens I would receive. The operation itself was very quick - everything though in about 75 minutes, the operation itself lasting little more than ten minutes and causing no real discomfort. The follow-up information and medication provided were straightforward and helpful. The quality of printed information throughout has been very good and the staff friendly.

I was an extremely nervous patient, but on entering SpaMedica I was greeted by the most courteous, &friendly staff who immediately put me at ease The nurses & Surgeon were friendly kind & super efficient, the operation was painless I was waiting for it to start when it was all over, a really lovely atmosphere to the whole place & the bonus of having my sight Back & improving the quality of my life I wish to thank everyone at SpaMedica.

SpaMedica is an excellent place, it is a clean establisment and the staff are friendly and competent. They put me at ease during the wait for my surgery and were extremely sensitive and supportive during the procedure. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From start to finish this is the jewel in the crown for eye surgery. The little things count and their attention to detail is exemplary. You are put at ease right from the start by the appointment procedure, nursing and reception staff. The surgical procedure was carried out with great skill for which you will be eternally grateful. Thank you to all the staff and the NHS.
