From start to finish I had an excellent experience. Professional and attentive staff throughout, spotlessly clean, well maintained premises, and only a two week wait between my assessment and the surgery. Plus, the results are amazing! I would recommend SpaMedica to anyone needed cataract treatment through the NHS.

Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end, the speed from initial contact to surgery was great. Staff are supportive and caring, the premises clean and modern. I have one observation, by no means a complaint when unavoidable delays occur it would be useful to be kept informed of any changes to expected delays. I have no hesitation in recommending SpaMedica.

Thank you to all staff at Sparmedica on both visits from my assessment to the day of the operation,a special thank you must go to Dr who assisted me he is exceptional and a highly recommended Surgeon, he communicated every step in detail. A special thank you to the nurses your care and attention was amazing from start to finish. The clinic was so neat and clean and a thank you to the gentleman at Reception that welcomes you when you arrive and ensures you are served with something to drink and snack on he is so cheerful. Overall Exceptional.

From entry to leaving, my experience and treatment was first class. Both pre-op appointment and operation dates were faultless. Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff. On my operation day I left 2 hours after entering the clinic. Highly recommended

I had a cataract op in early February, and was very impressed with this wonderful place! I was very nervous about this, but everyone was lovely, and soon put me at my ease, and I cannot recommend all the great people at Taunton highly enough. I have no vehicle and the lovely driver fetched me and brought me safely home, along with the others who were with me. I can see beautifully out of my right eye now, and even with the "wonky" left, feels great!

Welcoming on arrival ..was offered a hot drink and biscuits. Unfortunately a long wait but I had been told to allow 3 hours . Everyone was very helpful and everything was clearly explained. Procedure was painless. I will definitely return for the second procedure.

The initial welcome from staff on both visits was excellent and the pre-operative checks were carried out thoughly, efficiently and in a most pleasant manner. On the day of surgery, despite being very busy and with an unavoidable delay, the staff remained patient and reassuring. There was no sense of hurrying people along and failing to listen to them. The whole service was outstanding from start to finish. Thank you.

There were just 6 weeks from optician to surgery , very efficient. The pre-op assessment was thorough except that the report noted prior to surgery had my date of birth incorrect and it seemed the previous eye surgery and laser treatment to my other eye(right detached retina) was documented incorrectly despite that I had brought letters showing this. The operation day I was there at 10.00 but a long as I was not in theatre until after 12. It was cold in the waiting area. Information explaining the delays would be helpful. All was resolved in theatre when I felt reassured by the theatre nurse and consultant as to the correct information was now clear. All staff from the reception, clinic and theatre worked well.

All staff very pleasent and helpful, I went for eye surgery possibly feeling a little nervous. the medical team did every thing to make the treatment as comfortable as possible
