The initial welcome from staff on both visits was excellent and the pre-operative checks were carried out thoughly, efficiently and in a most pleasant manner. On the day of surgery, despite being very busy and with an unavoidable delay, the staff remained patient and reassuring. There was no sense of hurrying people along and failing to listen to them. The whole service was outstanding from start to finish. Thank you.

All staff very pleasent and helpful, I went for eye surgery possibly feeling a little nervous. the medical team did every thing to make the treatment as comfortable as possible

I was treated with courtesy and respect at all times. The staff put me at ease throughout the process and explained the procedure very clearly.

My visit to Taunton was made very easy by the all the staff right from arrival to the finish of my treatment, I was taken through the proceedure every stage, so this put me at ease the whole visit. Will be please to return in a month for assment for my other eye.

I felt at ease from the moment I stepped in door and was offered coffee and biscuits and the procedure itself was a lot less scarrey than I was expecting . Everyone else was really nice and helpful thank you to all

They give appointments every 10 minutes and as the op takes at least 30 minutes + after 3 patients the wait becomes over 1 hour. I had to wait over 3 hours. My appointment was 12.50 but didn’t leave the clinic till 16.45. Also the anaesthetic was ineffective for me it was a painful procedure. The assistant to the surgeon said “breath and relax” I replied “ it’s not you laying here”. I thought they weren’t very sympathetic especially as the surgeon was having a problem putting the new lens in. I found the whole experience too long and painful and wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone. If the appointment time is given then the treatment should start then as it can be very nerve wracking if it’s your first time as it was for me. The whole experience isn’t one which I would want to go through again.

From start to finish, a very calm and caring experience. Having been greeted at the door by a charming man, to when I left after the procedure, the staff were informative and kind. Many thanks.

Welcomed but late starting due to medical emergency. After that well looked after and medically without fault. Good literature. provided for aftercare

I had my pre-op at thus excellent facility on 10/12/24 and the cataract removal operation took place the following day. The entire experience, from the greeting at Reception and the extensive tests and checks by the various team members to the actual operation was undertaken in a professional and friendly manner. The facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Every member of the Staff Team was knowledgeable and answered all my questions whilst putting me at ease in a what could have been a potentially stressful situation. The process was well structured and ran very smoothly and it was noticeable that all members of staff communicated clearly with each other in a professional but relaxed and friendly manner, further creating a positive client experience. The surgery was undertaken efficiently and effectively and the aftercare was compassionate and reassuring. Thank you to the Team at SpaMedica, Taunton for removing my cataract and restoring my vision - brilliant! 😁

What can I say! Excellent care all round. Every member of staff from reception to nurses and surgeon were friendly, helpful and attentive. Can't believe I was 'processed' inside of two hours and on my way home. The surgery was painless and nothing to worry about. Worst I suffered was slight scratchiness in the eye on occasion for a couple of days after, but it certainly wasn't painful. Now 3 days after surgery my right vision is clear and focussed for distance vision. It's remarkable how white is actually white now rather than a creamy nicotine white when I compare with my untreated left eye. Can't wait until the day that the developing cataract in my left eye is considered bad enough to operate on :o)
