I had my first cataract surgery two days ago at SpaMedica Widnes and was very impressed with all aspects of my visit. Excellent, friendly staff, immaculate surroundings and smooth transition from one department to another, ie examination, administration of drops and full explanation of what was being done through to eventual surgery. Absolutely first class, 5 star service from all the staff and consultant. Highly recommend. Thank you all!

Thank you SpaMedica for restoring confidence and colour to my life. Throughout my treatment, all clinical staff were informative and re-assuring and clerical/support staff polite and accommodating. Overall, a good experience with a very positive outcome - would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending to family and friends.

SpaMedica were amazing All the staff were so efficient and put me at ease from the person who answered the main door through the various stages of my treatment and my surgeon who performed the operation quickly Thankyou very much I have complete trust in you all when I return to have have the operation on my second eye Thankyou very much it has made such a difference with my eye sight

I had my second cataract surgery yesterday and, as with the first one, it was the most pleasant experience I could have wished for with a medical procedure. Every care is taken at each stage, and from the person to greet you at the door and direct you where to go right through to discharge, there was nothing but friendly professionalism. I was given opportunity by nurses and the surgeon (whom I met while waiting to go into theatre) to ask any questions. All very reassuring, and playing out in a light and bright, beautifully clean environment with professional staff at every turn. I needed to reschedule my first surgery which was easily done. What's not to recommend? Oh, and really good hot drinks and biscuits to help yourself to before and after surgery, although staff would do it for you if you needed them to. The difference cataract removal has made to my vision is quite astounding. The colour and light is beautiful and the absence of the intrusive fuzzy vision is just wonderful. If ever I require further eye surgery this would be my first choice of clinic based on my two experiences.

The staff at Widnes SpaMedica are so kind, calming and helpful. I have to admit I was nervous going in for my operation but the staff are all so calming and friendly. That was yesterday and today I’m fine after a good night’s sleep and looking forward to my second cateract removal later this year!

I was surprised to receive an appointment for an assessment so soon after my eye test. My surgery was done the following week. I must praise all the staff for their efficiency, help and kindness. Thank you all.
