I was invited to attend the coronavirus medicine delivery unit as a person of high risk after providing a positive lateral flow test on Friday 19 Sept at 9.00. By 15.00 on the same day I was being treated in the unit. The staff were reassuring, calm and very professional. After screening and discussion of my medical history I was given an infusion and then observed in detail every 15 minutes over the following hour after to ensure there were no side-effects. By 17.00 I was on my way home, everything as it should be. Everyone who looked after me during what was an anxious time took time to provide reassurance whilst administering my infusion. The coffee and biscuits on offer were the best I've ever come across and were another factor in making the visit less of an ordeal and ensured that I was able to relax for the treatment. Thank you everyone in this amazing team for care and treatment of the highest quality and effectiveness.
