I had a fall and badly bruised my shin . The staff were spot in looking after me and reassuring me . The hospital was spotlessly clean , the receptionist was caring and the nurses were wonderful , what a great hospital this is . Thank you Stratton and I got to have my curry as well when I got home , highly recommended

I arrived at Stratton Hospital in terrible pain in my hand and wrist over the past 5 days. Receptionist welcoming and polite, all the staff were outstanding, seen by a nurse who was excellent, not only knowledgeable and happy, but compassionate. First Class Care , Stratton , we are so lucky to have such a wonderful place, where all concerns are put at ease by dedicated staff. Thankyou so much, from a retired oncology nurse.

  3. Review titled Thank you is simply not enough, you have saved my life

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Pauline Dunn - Posted on 30 January 2023

I was staying in Bude for a couple of days with my husband, when on the morning of 28 January 2023, I suddenly started to feel very ill. My husband of 54 years drove me to Stratton Hospital where I experienced firsthand the professionalism of our NHS. From the very kind helpful young lady at Reception to the ensuing nursing staff, I cannot thank you enough. I had begun to suffer a heart attack and the timely intervention of Stratton Hospital staff undoubtedly saved my life. The remainder of that day will be engraved on my memory, the paramedics and ambulance staff who stabilised me before I was transferred to Exeter RD&E via helicopter for emergency treatment, thank you all once again. I have had a stent fitted and am now in the Cardiac Ward at RD&E Exeter being monitored. I was informed by the ward Sister at Exeter that a member of staff at Stratton Hospital had taken the trouble to phone Exeter enquiring about my condition, it is the small acts of kindness that stick in the memory, a simple act above and beyond the call of duty so to speak, means so much to me. It is early days and my future is one of gradual recovery but I am indebted to you all, if ever the NHS required a shining example of the professionalism of the service, look no further than Stratton Hospital. 'Thank You' is simply not enough, but yet again, thank you all. Pauline Dunn, Kingsteignton, Devon.
