Whilst the xray was a good experience the report findings were incomplete when sent to my surgery. There was failure to report insufficiency fractures which meant the constant pain I am experiencing could have treated much earlier by my GP earlier. I am unsure whether it was a breakdown in communication from the radiology department or the surgery failing to chase up the full report. I was told the xray was satisfactory and it was only because a senior physiotherapist from Allied chased up the report that I found out the full findings.

I visited to see if I could book a blood test (as I was passing)Two people on reception, didn’t acknowledge me, both on their computers, one of whom was looking at recipes. Place was empty. Not possible to book an appointment as no access to the booking system. Crazy! No “walk-in” appointments even though phlebotomists available with spaces in their schedules. Absolutely mad! What a waste of money, time and resources. Had to phone from home for an appointment and a 2-week delay before I can give blood sample which delays my return visit to GP for test results. This service needs re- managing to deliver better service which is value for money. Huge building which is empty and underused. Could be so much better.

Thank you to everyone in the team including the nurse and colleagues answering the phones. Everyone involved found a way to reschedule my appointment for the same day and were really helpful.
