Review titled Appalling wait times. Nothing urgent about this centre.
Rated 1 star out of 5

Had to take my 4 year old here to be seen as couldn’t get a same day docs appointment. Visited early on a weekday and still the wait times are 4-5 hours even for a young child!!!! Empty waiting rooms and corridors, hardly anyone around. Does this place even have any staff?! Nothing urgent about the “care” being offered here. Absolutely appalling. Barely offering any sort of service at all. Should be closed down. Not fit for purpose. Don’t bother coming here just go straight to a&e.

I am very sorry you experienced this whilst attending our service, we only had 2 clinicians on duty that day, due to sickness and we also have to handle 111 calls. I understand this does not help when you have a poorly 4 year old and again, I apologise. We do make every endeavour to cover absence but sometimes we are unable to

I attended on Saturday morning and was seen promptly and with courtesy and treated very quickly. The whole place looked clean and tidy and as a registered nurse myself I was very impressed with all aspects of care - thank you

Review titled Shuts too early, overpriced tea and coffee
Rated 3 stars out of 5

The hours should be for a min of 12 hours however they shut an hour earlier. The price for a small vending was £1.60! surely that exceeds the rate that is given by the merchants, would advice to take your own. Even though i have highlighted these points the staff on triage where welcoming and the enviroment was clean, the waiting time was not so long however i was then resent to emergency which was a totally different experinence.

Review titled Staff leave before the practice closing time
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I came to this Urgent Medical Centre last night, 30 minutes before it was due to close. I walked upstairs and there wasn't one patient waiting outside, I proceeded to the reception desk which had its shutters half way down and spoke through the shutters to the man at the reception. He told me I couldn't be seen because "they close at 8pm" I pointed out it wasn't 8pm and that I was desperate to get some antibiotics and he said they couldn't help me because the doctors were with their last patients. I waited outside and no patients came out, only staff. The receptionist and the doctors insane inside left the building by 7.50pm. What sort of urgent medical centre is this, when staff are closing up 30 minutes before the building closes? I spoke to the GP desk at the bottom of the stairs and they said they couldn't help due to being a separate department. I drove there believing I would be fine aslong as five arrived long before 8pm. Clearly not?! Very unhelpful, unwilling staff.
