I had the pleasure week beginning 20/03/2023 of meeting a receptionist and doctor of the highest calibration .... heartfelt thanks to both of you .... I would have posted very likely But received notification from another doctor that the practise does not want me to have a liver scan as my case is not acute !! and that after second blood for hdl and ldl results I should wait to see if liver scan is necessary!!! Is this cost cutting yet again ..... the doctor I saw clearly commented that I should not worry but it’s better to be on the safe side and get it checked out ... I felt so supported as the doctor was highly professional and committed to doing the very best for his patient ... I cannot comment whether doctor was temporary or permanent as I don’t know but in light of medical protocol I would have thought that prevention is of paramount importance so do feel disappointed...
