  1. Review titled Terrible Service and management

Rated 1 star out of 5

Following my previous review, I was contacted by one of the managers, who promised me he would look for the letter I have sent them and would call me back. This was meant to be after Friday Nov 18th ,when the manager was meant to be back at the office. It is the 28th of November today, yet I still have not been contacted. This is really disappointing and shows how unprofessional your service is, even on a managerial level. The letter in question was a request for information from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority for a PTSD claim. I have called Waltham Forest Talking Therapies and have been instructed to send the form to them via post, which I have done. Yet the manager who spoke to me on the phone, suggested I should ask the Criminal Compensation Authority to issue the form again and asked me to send it to him via e-mail, so it doesn't get misplaced. I think it is an unacceptable suggestion, as clearly the fact that Waltham Forest Talking Therapies are not able to manage the post they receive without loosing or misplacing it, is not their patients' fault or responsibility. Having PTSD, I would love to bring this behind me and not constantly be reminded about the deeply traumatising event, which dealing with this does every time. I really should not have to chase the services and management and write complaints in order to get this sorted out.

  2. Review titled Terrible Service

I have been in therapy with you for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in 2020. I am currently applying for compensation from the Criminal Compensation Authority for the incident that resulted in me having PTSD. They have addressed 2 letters to your establishment asking for medical information about me. The deadline on both letters was 30 days, yet the first letter took 4 months for you to send - this only happened after multiple calls from me when you seem to have dislocated the letter and your phone staff promising to call me back, which they never did. About a month ago, I've sent another letter from the Criminal Compensation Authority, to you and this still has not been sent to them. I am extremely dissatisfied with the fact, that as a victim of a violent crime, it is such an effort to obtain that information from you. I really should not have to repeatedly chase you to complete this, as every time I have to talk about a deeply traumatising incident, that I would rather forget. Reaching your services is also extremely difficult, when I called today and finally got through the queue, the call was muted for a good 2 minutes before disconnecting. Then the second time the call just disconnected, only after a 3rd attempt was I able to get through to you. Only today was I informed that you have a special email address for obtaining medical records. This has never been mentioned before for over a year of communicating with you about the very same issue and you really should not expect your patients to know how your internal departments work, especially since the previous time I called, I have been advised to send you the letter via post. I will not be surprised if I don't receive a reply to this complaint, based on my previous experience in communicating with you and I would like to once again express my disappointment with your service.
