I went to this hospital for a full knee replacement sent from the NHS. I have worked in the NHS for 27 years so have some experience of care. It's a beautiful place . But after my knee surgery the after care was terrible. No one knew how to put patients on bed pans. I weed over the bed many times. Left on a wet mattress . New sheet came never thought about washing the mattress before inserting the clean one. Stayed the night. I'm the morning it was like a rush to get patients home so they called all leave work at 3pm.One member of staff said in front of me that a patient was a bit delicate being difficult. But not professional to voice that in front of meI think that's allowed after full knee replacement surgery. All my bed pans full of urine were left in the bathroom. I felt we were rushed out I came from Norwich and had a long journey home. I had a general plus morphine all night and was pretty out of it. But didn't notice the journey as was a sleep all the way home. Nobody was caring about how I was feeling no compassion. They just wanted me gone. One of the staff came in and said that a patient had collapsed. The night staff were blamed for giving knee replacement patients morphine all night and we were all drosey not awake enough for them. It was terrible after care. I have never ever treated a patient in this way no compassion for patients. If no one can use a bedpan on a patient. Get some shewees brilliant. I will always be grateful I had my surgery but the after care was appalling.

I (unfortunately) have delivered my wife to your premises. Premises are not well maintained (or well maintained, I have 25 + years of hospital estates management so my view is balanced), and although I have attempted to have my calls answered; so far nobody has answered my call. How would you feel? I am worried that my wife is not safe.
