I have used the Meadows surgery for 30 years and it only gets better: it has a terrific staff who run a dispensary that goes out of its way oil to provide everything possible in two days, if not on hand on the day, and receptionists who seem to, for the most part, enjoy a demanding job which requires knowledge and patience spiced up by humour ranging from dry to raucous depending upon the particular transaction between the receptionist and whoever they’re speaking with. The three or four nurses: I would trust with my grandchildren. They seem capable to deal with any situation and they will bring in a doctor for advice or help. As to be expected their personalities range the spectrum of sane individuals from “Big Nurse” to the more reserved. The three doctors are well-qualified and helpful, possessing skills that I am just discovering. I can’t wait to find out what else they are capable of. But I will hopefully give them a break to help the other nearly four thousand patients! They work well with the receptionists and dispensary team who work well with each other and the manager who has to be, and is, as personable as the others and as overworked! Obviously I haven’t a bad word to say and try to let them know how much I appreciate all that they have done for me and continue to do. Cheers, you are wonderful. I forgot the cleaners: the surgery is always sparkling. Another positive for the management. Also there are people on the board of directors, all volunteers, as are others in the background helping make the surgery a success. Thanks for all your hard-work and dedication. Unfortunately I’m in no condition to help. I will as soon as possible to be part of such a great success!
