I ring and am “held in queue” - but am told to book an appointment on ‘friendly’ website to save time (whose time?). So, being public minded (a 40 year veteran of working for NHS myself) I do use website - only later (too-late) to get a text message saying I should speak to a doctor. This on. Friday with no doctor to speak to (until Monday) - and so round-and-round-and-round I go. Meanwhile I feel unwell and in pain - but apparently not unwell-or-pained-enough for 999 or even 111 - in all my years of public service I have never know anything so poor … Of course, I blame the government - but then - so it seems - so do the GPs - meantime I unwell and in pain …!

From the friendly face and attitude of the receptionist to the medical and nursing staff, I am overjoyed with the care I receive from this practice. I have just had a yearly review with a nurse who displays empathy and professionalism. He knowledge is outstanding. I was recently contacted by the staff at the practice as blood results were deranged. They called me twice, such was the concern. As a result I was commenced on life saving anticoagulants. This surgery is one of the best
