i was referred by my gp practice for an ultrasound scan of the renal area i picked thistlemoor near where i live i was required to drink 1&1/2 pints of water 1 hr prior to scan at 11.40 arrived on time booked in at 11.40no call for scan at 12.00am still no call l am now in panic mode my prostate problem is now dire i knock on door of scan unit only to be told we have an it problem sorry i informedi cant hold on any longer and must go to toilet nurse said okay but come back which i did i was then asked to enter scan room where i was met with an apology but could i wait ten minutes i said no and left . what makes me upset is they new they hadan it problem but could not be bothered to inform me of the delay having a prostate problem is bad enough now having to go through this scan again is very upsetting for me

staff in ultrasound dept gave me great care could not fault dept staff carried out an excellent procedure making me a very relaxed patient many thanks
