    Given my father is a surgeon I have the utmost respect for the NHS and medical staff but the way I was just spoken to on the phone by 2 of your receptionist is unacceptable. I called due to being unable to drive my car off our estate this morning and other medical issues which I do not feel I need to elaborate on to someone I have no idea who they are. I was berated by 2 women who said they can drive in and they have palpitations. I was also then told well you dont want to come in so we will push you to the bottom of the queue which means March at best- very threatening. I have already been warned of making any formal complaints as the receptionists stop people from receiving appointments. Im horrified! and after all this neither one of them even bothered to check my appointment is not even for today its for tomorrow!!

    Good afternoon. I was referred to the centre on Monday by my GP I got an appointment within the hour to be seen today at breast clinic I had to wait about hour because the weather was bad and delays. I was seen by consultant and after a thorough examination he wanted me to have a mammogram and wanted it today. I was seen today almost immediately I had a mammogram by the lovely lady I then had an ultrasound by another excellent doctor explaining well with care and treatment and reassuring. I returned to clinic where I was seen again by consultant again who told me everything was well. What a lovley man and team thank you so much Every single person I saw today was kind courteous and very helpful and thorough. No weeks or days of worrying but seen within days and all tests completed. Excellent service and care. May I thank you all most sincerely. What a team you must be very very proud to be in it. Thank you.

    Needed bloods taken urgently as got rectal bleeding and that is stated in my GP request sheet. The lady on blood test counter wouldn’t let me have bloods taken a said it wasn’t urgent I needed to book but there is a 7 day wait. Her manners and attitude was appalling. She was the same with the 2 people before me. NHS shouldn’t be employing people on a reception if they don’t have people skills and know how to speak to people correctly.

    I was nervous because I had seen a different doctor at another hospital and they were dismissive and did not listen. Hear I felt heard and the doctor was sensitive when she spoke with me.

    This was NHS at it's best. Friendly, efficient staff. I saw 4 individual members of staff. They were all excellent. They were so efficient, all working as z Team. Hearing test lady was lovely. The Doctor was brilliant: explaining my hearing problems, course of action, she listened attentively to my symptoms. I was blown away by the speedy accurate service by everyone. 50 mins 4 people, hearing test, ears suction and consultation. Amazing service. Spotlessly clean too. Thanks you very much everyone. Staff were calm, hard working and not standing around chattering.

    I arrived to my appointment on the 11th of October, and the breast clinic was in darkness at 6.40pm. Apparently the cleaner was expecting some women to arrive to be told that they’re closed and gone home?

    We would just like to extend our thanks for the support you gave to our grandparents, my grandad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and the service he received was fantastic. Not only support for the ongoing issues but for family members and support contacting different departments. Real holistic care.

    My appointment today , I was treated very well first check was very thorough and was sent for an X-ray. Nurses and doctors so lovely and caring. I could not fault the quickness of how I was seen and how thourough each department was to check everything was ok. Everything was and my mind is it ease . Calming and lovely atmosphere at the Linacre centre in wigan . Thankyou to all who examined me today and support given to me

    Visited this building today while going for an X Ray I left my husband in the Cafe with a drink while I went in my husband being registered blind and disabled . When I came out went to the counter to order food it was about 1.45 . Asked for 2 toasted teacakes was told couldn't order them because breakfast had finished but picked up 2 toasted sandwiches that could be cooked in the same way and there wasn't much choice of cold sandwiches.A member of staff had just ordered the same thing and stood at the side of the counter waiting for her food, i payed for my food and went to put my purse back in my bag and check on my husband when the 2 ladies behind the counter shouted in front of everyone at the top of there voices sit down we will bring them over when there ready we have got other people to serve I was really upset because everyone turned round to look , while we we were sat we also heard members of staff complaining about the lack of choice and service. I have visited Wrightington Hospital many times over the last 2 years and have never experienced this before it needs sorting out and the staff serving need to learn some manners .
