This appointment was for microsuction for my daughter's ear. I was not happy for being charged for both ears when only one needed treatment. After filling the forms warning about the risks of hearing loss following treatment if the child is not still, we had to sit on a very wobbly chair for the procedure and the lady seemed surprised when I told her. Our details were taken in her office rather than reception and the payment was in cash with no receipt. It seemed a bit strange. The specialist was friendly though and gave us some good advice for my daughter's ear. She promised further referral to GP if needed. I am disappointed that such services now have to be paid for especially for children. There are so many of these services being offered but no guarantee of their qualifications.
