After suffering from stres, anxiety and depression I took mental health leave. I have asked the practice to extend this period and please provide me with a new sick note for my leave. After submitting two requests on Patchs, contacted the practice via phone (30 mins waiting), I was finally told a doctor would have called me the same night to then issue the new fit note. A doctor called me saying they would have contacted my GP for them to issue urgently a fit note. I did not receive any document yet. Now the practice is closed for the weekend and I am supposed to get back to work on Monday, even though I am still suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and definitely do not feel fit to go back. I felt completely unsupported by the practice and my anxiety only worsened because of this.
