  1. Review titled Physiotherapy helped me move in the right direction

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andrew - Posted on 23 May 2024

I came to the physio department as one step in a long journey of explanation for the troubles I had been having. Overlapping and interconnected to be sure but I was wary as some avenues of exploration had been miserable dead ends. Not so my time here with the person I'm not allowed to name in my review. As personable and caring a practitioner you could hope for, she always made me feel like a person who had a problem that could be be helped and never like a problem or a condition or just an appointment. Taking time to get to know the hows and whys of what had brought me there she - over a period of many appointments - gave me a regime of exercises and advice and guidance - tailored and changing as my condition improved. Her warm and considered approach never made it seem like she had anything but the best of outcomes in her sights and her reassurance and genuine friendly manner made improvement seem more than possible but something I would be foolish to miss out on! I have come away from my treatment feeling better in ways that I did not expect as the exercises and therapy provided highlighted issues that I did not know were feeding into the problems I was experiencing. And if you don't expect our medical practitioners to help find out what's wrong and help you feel better then I don't know what you go for! (Ha Ha!) But seriously I am incredibly grateful for the care in guidance I have receiveved - the information sheets and exercises I have been given will allow me to carry of doing the good work started here for a long time to come. Bravo. Heartily recommend.

  2. Review titled Disgusting service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Waited 25 minutes for disabled parking space at walkden gateway had to park in an ordinary car parking space so didn’t have much room to get out and get out my scooter from the car as I cannot walk unaided, I arrived for my appointment and explained to the receptionist at podiatry that I waited for 25 minutes for a space so the receptionist booked me in I was then told by the podiatrist I was late and couldn’t be seen! The parking conditions at walkden gateway are horrific I left my house with plenty of time to get to my appointment as I give myself extra time to be able to get my scooter out and get into the building I am disgusted in the level of service I received today, your podiatrist should be ashamed of themselves.
