Review titled First class service - thank-you
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Gary D - Posted on 16 October 2024
I had an echocardiogram today, 16/10/2024 and the service was first class, please pass on my sincere thanks. All the people I encountered were cheerful & extremely professional from the lady on reception to the people in the waiting area and lady that carried out the cardiogram. We are very lucky to have this facility in the area, thank-you again.

Review titled Very pleasant experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Helen - Posted on 02 October 2024
I arrived for my echocardiogram and found reception very pleasant and professional. Examination very thorough in lovely surroundings and the practioner so pleasant to talk to. Parking easier than Great Western Hospital. Would be happy to have an appointment there again.

Review titled Great emergency dental care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Debbie - Posted on 15 August 2024
My biggest phobia is the dentist but I had been in such pain that I had to go. This morning I saw the most amazing group of female receptionist and dentist nurse and assistant. I was so nervous and they were super friendly, professional and just absolutely amazing. I really hope they see this and realise just how much they made my worst phobia actually not too bad. They were super patient and kind. Thank you

Review titled Rushed out
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 April 2024
Paid for an emergency appointment, hushed out with little to no care or even attempt to look into why we were there and sent home within 5 minutes with nothing looked out or helped. Pain is still persisting as rude staff failed to even try and help.

Review titled Awful practice avoid at all costs
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Suzy - Posted on 16 April 2024
Couldn’t even be bothered to look at all the teeth in my mouth - was in the waiting area filling out the forms longer than the time I was in with the dentist. She was rude has made my mouth feel worse than it was going in. Absolute waste of time. Avoid this at all costs.

Review titled Non compassionate and rude dental doctor
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 February 2024
For the past week I have had a broken tooth with a nerve out causing me immense pain where I haven’t been able to eat or sleep for about 5 days. I don’t currently have a dentist as used to be private but now unfortunately cannot afford the fee’s so I gave the emergency dental clinic a call to help. Phone operated where lovely and helpful, receptionist and dental assistant where lovely. You could tell I was in a lot of pain extremely anxious as I brought my mum as I am so afraid of things like this. When I got into the room the actual Dental doctor couldn’t be bothered and just looked at me angry like I’m a problem being there. She asked me why I’ve come in today and I explained the above that I have a broken tooth with nerve showing causing me pain and causing me not to sleep. As I lead down on the chair she said ‘ You should really go to your own dentist for this, this isn’t something we should be dealing with’. I replied ‘ I unfortunately don’t have a dentist right now and trying to find an NHS dentist at the moment is extremely difficult’. She cut me off and explained ‘Well you need to find one because you can’t be coming here’ This made me feel so belittled and anxious that she doesn’t want to help me and that me being in pain with a nerve in my tooth showing I should just deal with. She then said I’m gonna do a few injections. This was me in panic mode I asked for my mum and had a panic/anxiety attack and cried in the chair the whole procedure. They filled my broken tooth and when she had finished she said ‘ You need to get a dentist because I haven’t fixed the problem I’ve just made it bearable until you get your own dentist’. I then left the room in floods of tears and embarrassment that I even had to call a NHS service for help. I’m still extremely upset with how I was treated. This woman works in a people care facility and she had no empathy what so ever and made me feel so worthless the whole time especially when I was having a panic attack. The filling feels off and terrible and I’m still in immense pain and I feel like I can’t call back because I feel bullied by the dentist who treated me. You obviously can’t say anything then and there because I was in so much pain I couldn’t risk not being treated,l think the dentist knows this and treated me like a stupid little girl. I will be finding a way to take this complaint further. She should not be a dental doctor with the lack of empathy and people skills.

Review titled Waste of time and money
Rated 1 star out of 5

Was scheduled for an emergency appointment with dental service, as my tooth cracked. While calling for an appointment, as I'm not assigned to any NHS dentist, I specifically asked if the extraction could be provided during the visit - was assured that this is possible. During my exam dentist informed me that they don't have enough time to do an extraction today, so I should find myself a private dentist. Or alternatively wait for a 2-3 month for the hospital referral, quote "But you would be rejected anyways". Extremely dissatisfied

Review titled Positive 'urgent' experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Richard - Posted on 16 December 2022
Attended this practice today for an urgent appointment due to not being registered with a dentist. The attitude and level of care from all staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Other reviews made me fearful I would be berated for not having a regular dentist, or denied treatment for the same reason, but neither happened. Indeed, not only was the dentist thorough in examination (including taking an X-ray) and giving necessary immediate treatment (a course of antibiotics), I was also made aware of further treatment options through the same service.
