  1. Review titled Professional and kind

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jan - Posted on 04 September 2024

I went for an MRI scan in the mobile unit at Wilson Hospital in Cranmer Road on a Saturday. Because of previous adverse experiences I was nervous and tearful. The radiographer and nurse could not have been kinder or more supportive. They were completely professional, but at the same time had the human touch. I could genuinely say the experience was pleasant! The nurse sat with me throughout, and indicated his presence with a hand on my arm. I felt completely safe and knew that they were both looking out for me. I never felt rushed and never felt judged. I cannot conceive of how they could have done their job better. I am very grateful.

Dear Jan, My name is Winson, and I am a member of the Patient Experience Team for the South West London & St. George's Mental Health NHS Trust. Thank you for your feedback, I'm delighted to hear you had such a good experience at the Wilson Hospital and service from the staff who staff you met there that day. This the level of care we aspire to within the Trust and we were very pleased to hear you mention your Nurse and Radiologist in such a positive way. I will be sharing this feedback with the staff at the Wilson Hospital and I hope this will encourage them to keep up the good work and other teams will be inspired by their example. I thank you again for taking the time out to leave such a lovely comment.

  2. Review titled Could not have been better

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I took my sister to the Wilson Hospital today (May 1st) for an MRI scan. She was nervous about the procedure. We arrived a couple of minutes early and we were welcomed in a very polite and friendly way. The scan was completed in 30 minutes and she could not have been looked after better. Thank you very much to the radiologist and the nurse that looked after her with such care especially on a Bank Holiday!

  3. Review titled No staff

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I turned up for my pre booked Covid winter jab, for which I had received confirmation to find no staff on duty and no vaccines being given. Just a security guard present. A total waste of my time they could have had the courtesy to text me and let me know

Dear Anonymous I was sorry to read of your experience and appreciate that this must have been frustrating for you. However, I think that this feedback was not meant for us as we are a Mental Health Trust and do not administer Covid jabs. I would advise you to contact your GP directly in order to discuss this. Kind regards Jane
