I only had a check up with x. rays, do not need any treatment, I was given a special brush to clean out a crumbling tooth which cannot be repaired..

I was seen on time by a very capable and professional dentist. I have been going to this practice for over thirty years and this dentist is the best I have ever had.

My recent appointment at Abbey Dental involved Band 2 treatment which I had been required to pay for in advance. For someone like myself, living off a small pension this is an outgoing that I have to budget for I have to say that in my estimation, the treatment I received on the day was over all to soon. What I thought would be a deep clean under the gum line was completed in a matter of minutes - I'd say about 3 or 4 minutes in fact and felt to me like a rather cursory affair. When I compare this to what I used to receive at King's College a few years ago, where the same procedure typically took more than half an hour to complete both the upper and lower arches, I'm left wondering how it could be done in such a short time. Does the price of Band 2 treatment really only buy a few minutes of your dentist's time ? And if I were a private patient at the same practice would my experience be different (and more thorough) ? Dentist very polite, thorough, pleasant and professional. I have a complex issue as I am on blood thinning medication which needs to be referred to a Hospital. Everything was explained at the time of my visit as to what happens next and what I should do if I get another abscess whilst waiting for a hospital appointment.

This is abit of a mixed review. I needed an emergency appointment for an on going toothache and a cracked tooth. Positive: they were able to fit me in fairly quickly, identify the problem and give me antibiotics to stop an infection. Negative: I left the practice in MucH more pain that I was in when I walked in. my normal dentist was unavailable so I was seen by somebody else and then told that I would have to pay AgaiN for an initial assessment from my regular dentist, instead of him giving me the work I needed based off of the notes from this visit.

I went to abbey dental jan 2024 to have treatment i found the dentist &dental assistant to be very very very processional skillful experienced and very respect polite and i felt very safe around both dentist&dental assistant to & i found them both very approachable also i found abbey dental receptionists staff very professional skillful respectful &professional &polite also im very happy with the dental care i recieved my ratings on all the service i recieved is definately 10 out 10

As an extremely nervous dental patient, I was full of apprehension when I broke a couple of old fillings, which had to be replaced with crowns. The quality of care I received at Abbey Dental practice was simply outstanding -- calm, careful, efficient and sensitive. I could not have asked for more and am really grateful. Many thanks!
