Very informative, kind and professional. Lots of advice given on how to improve your own dental management. Clear explanations of every step of the procedures. An optimistic approach which is very welcome to an older patient when things can start to go downhill, receding gums, crumbling fillings, brown teeth etc. I was praised for my home teeth cleaning standard which I had worked hard on and I was delighted to be told that the effort paid off. So that was very nice of the dentist to verbally reward me. The waiting room has so much information on improving your teeth. The reception staff work hard to keep patients records and bookings in order. This practice gives me confidence.

I have been going to this practice for years and always been very happy with my treatment. This time I had a new dentist, my 3rd in the last year, and it was a painful experience and expensive. She said a filling had fallen out, but this wasn't the case, there wasn't a filling near the front of my mouth. She put a tiny filling in a gap at the top of the tooth and charged me £65.20! I feel this was unnecessary work and a check up and clean was all that was needed. I told the dentist I had very sensitive teeth but she still managed to put the cleaning drill directly into the most sensitive tooth in my mouth. My teeth were still hurting a week later! Never again.

I think the treatment is satisfactory but the experience is disappointing. There is minimal interaction. I do not expect an extensive chat but saying “How are you Mr Holland” would be nice. I appreciate I’m there to have my teeth cared for but it still should be a two way association.
