  1. Review titled Scammers with no care

Rated 1 star out of 5

Went for emergency appointment explained the tooth pain and doctor decided I needed a filling which is band 2 treatment on nhs, then proceeded to tell me the price is £80 for silver filling and £190 for white one. I said that I can’t afford to pay £200 for one fillling so I decided on silver one, later on dentist decided that actually he will do white one and charge me as if it was silver one which I said many thanks too. But now few weeks after I’m at another dentist with same tooth pain again needing canal roots done. Not going back there again. They accept you as nhs patient but expect you to pay as you’re private. Also try to get you to go hygienist all the time for £80 a visit which is ridiculous for 5 minutes appointment

  2. Review titled so very helpful

I hadn't visited my usual dentist for 2 years and so when I had terrible pain from a broken tooth had no where to get treatment. After calling 3 other local dentists and being turned away, asquith house orthodontic and dental implant centre not only said that they could see me, they made an emergancy appointment for the next day. I was so pleased and grateful. The staff were then so very accomodating and helpful at my appointment and am truely thankful I found and contacted them.

  3. Review titled Dishonest practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

My family visited the practice the first time in July 2023 with general examination and X-rays. The dentist asked us to come again to perform the treatments as time was not enough. We booked the second visit in August but received a message of cancellation five hour before the scheduled time. So we booked the second appointment again and went there yesterday late afternoon to finish our recommended treatments. After completion, the lady in the reception said we have to paid for the fees as new booking because the three month's period set by NHS has been passed since our first visit. She cannot change the payment amount as their system and the rules were set by NHS. We said it's not fare as the second booking was not cancelled by us and we have managed to rebook our visit at the earliest provided after the cancellation. Upon leaving the practice, we checked the text messages from the practice again and to our surprise, we have one more week to go before the three months deadline. Therefore I think they are not honest and I strongly recommended staying away from this practice.

  4. Review titled Lacking Proffessionism and Transparency

Rated 1 star out of 5

Best ever experience for around a year but had to insist on seeing a certain dentist who was extremely good, unfortunately when this dentist left the nightmare started. One experience with a dentist who has hidden away by that I mean no name given no registration number released very concerning as it leaves me feeling these guys have no respect for transparency in this case basic informatio. One hurried unproffessional extraction carried out result trigeminal nerve neuralgia the worst pain known to mankind,a full NHS refund given not alot for months of hell and still it continues due to loss of the immune system worst dentist I have had the misfortune of ever setting foot in.

  5. Review titled Poor practice.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been going to this practice for over 25 years with having every faith in my dentist who I was very confident and happy with. Over the last five years or so it has changed hands. I had a horrendous toothache and booked in as a emergency case. The Dr who saw me seemed nervous of doing a tooth extraction, there was no xray done, no glasses on face, to swill my mouth only given water, no suction while attempting to remove my tooth, only at the last minute the nurse did suction of loose debris. He seemed more concerned on what the nurse was doing. I left with only the enamel being removed and not the double root which he said some had been removed. Granted he did say he might not get it all out, gave me prescription of antibiotics and will refer you to hospital. So left with an open wound with roots still in. He said you should be alright and see how you get on, you might not need them to come out. Got home had a sleep and in worse pain than ever. Got my husband to phone the hospital and referred me to a lovely Dr at another practice, who was with me after only waiting 30 mins, xray done, gum cut, roots out, stitched up, glasses on, suction!, proper mouth wash and all the care in the world. I am glad to say I have registered with them.

  6. Review titled Awful. Leave patients to get worse.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had an appointment in May, told I would need a root canal before it gets worse leading to an extraction. We are in August and I am still waiting for my referral, I have called to remind multiple times and still have heard nothing back. Do not waste your time or money.

  7. Review titled Rubbish

Went in on a Tuesday as an emergency, he checked my teeth within 1 minute to say no infection, go back on the Friday as still in a lot of pain for another dentist to check my teeth, who again did this in less than a minute using only his finger, to tell me it’s infected. Gave me antibiotics and out I came… taking antibiotics and still in a lot of pain. No X-rays done, no proper examination of the mouth. Even receptionist said, that was quick. Would not recommend. Feels like they have not got the time of day and do not listen to what you say.

  8. Review titled disorganised and not patient centred

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been attending this practice for many years and have become increasingly frustrated since the current owner took over 5 years or so ago. They are constantly late (upto an hour), the staff behind the reception are not responsive to those waiting often chatting about social events amongst themselves rather than speaking to the person waiting. One of the dentists does not wear his face mask appropriately. there are not enough seats in the waiting room as there are always so many people waiting and I would question if this number of people on the premises actual breaches fires safety regulations. I always come out of the practice incredibly frustrated and feel that they don't care about the impression they make. They do have extended opening hours which is good, but I feel this is to get more people across the threshold. It does feel like a conveyor belt and it is an awful experience. Fortunately another practice locally is now taking NHS patients and so I have moved the family to that practice, thank fully.
