I’m writing to formally express my disappointment with the recent experience my son and our family had at your practice. Firstly, my son’s front tooth was damaged by the orthodontist from another surgery. However, rather than acknowledging this possibility, the dentist repeatedly questioned whether my son had suffered an accident, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. I understand the importance of thorough assessments, but the way this was handled made us feel as though we were not being listened to or taken seriously. Furthermore, after much back and forth, we were informed that my son may require a root canal treatment, which your practice does not perform and was described as a very costly procedure. The lack of clear guidance or viable treatment options left us feeling unsupported during an already stressful situation. Additionally, my wife was told that replacing an old crown would be “impossible,” yet no real explanation was provided as to why. This contradicts general dental knowledge and raises concerns about the quality of advice we received. If certain treatments are not possible at your practice, clearer communication and alternative options should have been provided. Overall, this experience has left us with serious doubts about the level of care and expertise at your practice. We expected professionalism, clear explanations, and a patient-focused approach, but unfortunately, we felt frustrated, dismissed, and without proper solutions. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on how such situations are handled in the future. Patients deserve clarity, compassion, and confidence in the care they receive.

Been going here for several years and went today with what I thought was several issues but all the staff, from reception to the Dentist and dental nurses were amazing, as they always are. Someone who has a real phobia of going to the dentist, I am not the easiest patient but everyone is just so lovely. Thank you so so much.

I needed to see a dentist urgently on a Saturday and was referred to this practice using NHS 111. I had an abcess on my gums that was extremely painful. I have nothing but praise for the efficient and polite way that I was dealt with by the people I saw. From the Receptionist to the Dentist they were very helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending this practice to anyone needing a Dentist.

I was referred to this practice by NHS 111 for an urgent dental problem and within 1.5 hours of calling I was given a same-day appointment within two hours. The reception staff were polite and professional. I did not have to wait, and the dental practitioners were equally welcoming and professional. They explained my problem and answered all the questions I asked. I'm now pain-free and thoroughly satisfied with the level of service. Thank you very much, Bedwell team.

Reception staff are very rude. Treat reception like a social club on their phones talking very loud to each other. Very rude when i asked how long my appointment will be after waiting half an hour. Would not recommend to anyone

Unfortunately my three year old needed an emergency appointment today and the dentist, dental nurse and receptionist couldn't have been more amazing with her. The dentist got down to her level and made her feel comfortable, showed her the equipment and chatted to her in such a lovely way before we sat down. He also gave us lots of reassurance. They made a lovely effort with stickers and letting her know they'd email the tooth fairy. Thank you so much!

Wow! Excellent service from the receptionist who was friendly and put us at ease during our Sunday emergency appointment. The dentist and her assistant were fantastic and friendly which really helped my daughter relax. Thank You

i was seen at this dentist as an emergency on a Sunday morning after contacting 111. i cannot thank them enough, i’m a nervous patient and i have never been put more at ease. the dentist was extremely kind and explained everything. i would recommend this practice.

Dr Patel and her staff are so helpful, professional, really made my son feel at ease and answered any questions he had about his procedure. They most certainly go that extra mile. My son was referred as an emergency patient via 111. He has been in agony with sleepless nights for two evenings. He is very pleased that he can finally know that his tooth is on the mend and that the pain is going to reduce. Thank you so much, Dr Patel.
