The reception staff were absolutely abysmal. When making my appointment on the phone whoever I was speaking to yawned and laughed as I was giving my details. When I arrived I was greeted with a blank stare, not a greeting. The dentist herself was very professional, but the building is not a nice environment. It’s a bit discomforting staring at an ad for lip fillers and Botox while at the dentist. When I was leaving the receptionist had no idea how much I was due to pay or how to book an appointment in, she said the dentists notes weee ‘confusing’, so I get the impression she received no training at all. Despite booking a follow up appointment I never received any confirmation, so now I feel I have to call the practice to confirm, which is a problem because no one appears to ever answer the phone.

My dentist was very polite and friendly and she talked you through everything beforehand which that was very good and it settled my nerve more.

What stood out is that after being called every 6 months to visit the dentist in the past, I made the decision to go after nearly 2 years because I have dental insurance. Only to find out that I have the start of gum disease, which could have probably been caught much earlier if the dentist had carried on calling me for check up every 6 months. I am not happy about that because I am very good with keeping my oral hygiene up to scratch.

The appointment felt rushed. I don't feel as if the dentist checked over my concerns as thoroughly as she could have. I just feel I need another check up and a second opinion.

The receptionist service was fine, and the dentist time was less than two seconds sitting on the dental chair and just looking into my mouth cost £23.80 I appreciate it if the dentist would at least clean my teeth for this payment,
