Review titled Unprofessional receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Maxime V - Posted on 29 June 2023
The receptionnist staff is very unprofessional. I had two appointments cancelled, including one last minute, because the practician called in sick, which I totally respect and understand. When I came to the practice for the first cancelled appointment (the cancellation was too short-notice and I hadn't seen it) and when I called to reschedule after the second was cancelled, the receptionnist staff had a very unprofessional attitude, very blasé and nonchalant about the whole situation and almost seemed reluctant to find an appropriate solution. I asked to get a confirmation email, which I never received. When I finally got the appointment, the practician instructed me to do some treatment which required a second appointment. When I came to the reception to book, I was made to pay a deposit of £50 and we set a date for said appointment. Having received no confirmation on the day, despite having called the practice a few weeks prior and having texted them, and in order to avoid a "bad surprise" I called to know if the appointment was still on, to which I was told that they did not find this appointment. However, they did have banked my deposit. When I asked to get my deposit back, I was offered another appointment, which I accepted, but then I didn't receive any confirmation (again). I emailed the practice to have them send it to me but they never did. In spite of this unprofessional attitude coming from the reception staff, I have nothing to say regarding the practician that I saw. I am no dentist myself, and only one appointment is not enough to get a good idea of the quality of care.

Review titled Extremely poor practice

Extremely poor! I would give a zero star if this was available. I booked an appointment and had to wait few weeks for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time. When it was my time to see the Dentist, they said that they are running late, and I will not be seen today and asked me to book a new appointment. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. This was also done to the person before me. No guarantee you will be seen even after you book an appointment. I had to take leave for this from work. I will never go back and encourage everyone to stay away.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Solved my issues with crown and places a new feeling successfully in a very processional way. I’m very pleased!

Nothing stood out as a good customer Journey. The reception staff need to be more customer friendly and more welcoming I was sent from one receptionist to another only to be ignored with two different reasons as to why. And each time I have an appointment nothing gets done only to rebook for another. I paid for a deep clean to be informed on the day the hygienist was not available, after stating how disappointed I was I was referred to the dentist but I didn’t experience a deep cleaning

Nothing much apart from the fact I had to wait twenty-five minutes past my appointment, while others came and went before me. I was given treatment which I didnt need as I had treatment on 22nd December. Last time I was charged £23.80 plus £48.00. This time I was charged £70.00, I only had funds for and paid £25. 80. The rest is to be paid before I can make my next appointment in 3 months due to availability. The pain I had recently and swelling wasnt addressed. I was also offered dentures at £306.00? Can my GMB dental plan cover this?

Having been a regular patient here for 4 years, I could never get through and no one got back to me when I leave a message . I had to make a direct visit to book a check up. Their dentists leave every year and the check up, with someone new took less than a minute. ? She asked about my dental rountine and her equipment barely touched my mouth , probably 4 X and the check up was over in less than 2 mins. She seemed to be training as her dentist was reading prompts for her. I didn't feel confident that I had a through check up. This was my worst experience here so far, previous ones have been better. I also had a clean which again didn't feel complete. Spent 100£ in total and didnt feel satisfied or confident with the service I received ?

I’m a new patient and I’ve now had two hygienist appointments cancelled last minute, back to back. Not very impressed.

Saw a dentist in emergency so wasn't my usual dentist the dentist I saw was quite horrible and not sympathetic with my situation he also smelt very strong of cigarettes which effected my health. He took his time left me waiting for a good 15 mins on the dental chair while he had a fag with no apology didn't check my tooth professionally just said nothing he can do.
