Review titled Beware
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 June 2024
This practice continues to offer the services of a hygienist, but neglects to advise that this will be as a private patient with the associated private fee. This made it impossible to claim back the cost of treatment from insurers as they only cover the cost of nhs treatments

Review titled Marvellous practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

A welcoming practice, from the reception, dental nurse and dentist. At times I can be a nervous patient and all this put me at ease. The dental work I had done was done with attention to detail and means I can smile again . Thank you so much.

Review titled Cancelled cancelled x 4
Rated 1 star out of 5

Something not quite right about this practice, taking on nhs but cancel on the day at 8am. 4 times now, dentist always sick on these days?? Avoid! Nervous patients please avoid, it causes way to much stress and panic building up to be told dentist is sick, but then on leave next week! So when exactly do we get seen. He seems to only get sick or had to travel from Leeds? Something very fishy and is being reported. Avoid at all costs.

Review titled Very poor and insensitive communication
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 November 2023
After cancelling mine and my children's appointments repeatedly for year and half (due to recruitment problems) and being unable to rebook, I eventually moved practices in mid 2022. Chester Dental have continued to contact me via text and cold calling to offer treatments. My eldest child died tragically and unexpectedly this year and I am now a bereaved parent. Despite asking twice (once by phone, once by email) to be removed from their records, and explaining that we are bereaved in my email, the practice never acknowledged my email, and continue to text me advertising treatments and using my deceased child's name. It is deeply unprofessional and insensitive.

I love this little dental practice . Been using it for last 15 years . Incredibly helpful, friendly and professional staff . They have always given me the best quality treatment . Very caring , very thoughtful . I could not, recommend this dental practice, highly enough . Absolutely excellent .

Review titled Awful Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 March 2023
Seen 3 different practitioners since last October, paid every time when i have arrived, still not had treatment i originally went for. Had two appointments changed and twice sat in the waiting room for over an hour of the appointment time i was given. Went to have a tooth extraction after waiting months and then told they are not willing to see me until i pay an outstanding £30 from 2018 i told them i do not owe any money only to be told the receptionist at the time had charged me the wrong price. No letter sent with any mention of this and no mention of this the past 5 times i have been for treatment and paid. Disgusting
