Pleasant receptionist. Called through on time. Thorough gentle examination with descale and x-rays in pristine surgery.

The Dentist performed a very tricky filling in terms of access to the tooth but he did so with kindness and professionalism, talking through each step until the process was complete which was very reassuring. His coach/assistant however, was less than helpful. He did not greet or make contact with me, he seemed uninterested in the whole procedure and didnt support the dentist with equipment etc until asked - very poor! Maybe he should be looking for an alternative career!

I have been going to this dentist practice for many years and always had the same dentist, who I rate highly. Since the takeover the standards of the surgery have slipped . On this visit the toilet had no toilet paper, the soap dispenser was broken and the paper towel dispenser was empty.

Unfortunately there were a lot of people in the waiting area and no windows open to circulate the air. I felt faint and a door was wedged open which helped.

I had a good experience at the dentist and it isn't normally something I relish. I had both a hygienist and a dental appointment. In each case the staff were very professional and also friendly and reassuring.

I've always been pleased with this practice. However, I attended an appointment for the replacement of two fillings. I was surprised that the dentist checked my teeth, then clearly wasn't going to go on to treat me. I was informed that I needed to make a further appt to see a 'therapist' who would do the job instead. I was confused! Turns out that therapists are now being employed to do some of the work that dentists do because of the backlog due to the lack of dentists. This was news to me. Then when I went to reception to make the appt, they told me my dentist was leaving. Also news to me! I don't know why he didn't tell me himself. Anyway, I can't comment on the treatment because I didn't get any, other than an examination and now have to return unexpectedly for a second appt. I can, however, comment on the communication, which I think could have been better as this appt was full of surprises that I hadn't anticipated.

I have had multiple treatments at Chipping Norton Dental and they have been consistently welcoming, caring and professional. As a nervous dental patient I have always been treated with respect and nothing has ever hurt or been unmanageable. Through Invisalign my smile has been transformed and I have now used their aesthetic treatment. This was amazing with a detailed consultation that you would expect from a medical professional. The treatment itself was pain free and delivered the exact result I was looking for. I highly recommend this practice. The reception staff are lovely, an all round gem that I trust to take care of me.
