Review titled Successful root canal treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 July 2024
The dentist and practice were professional and helpful throughout, explaining the treatment and why it was required, plus showing the X-ray images of the treatment as it progressed. The root canal treatment itself was no more painful than having a regular filling (albeit it takes longer to perform), and it helped remove the pain I was experiencing prior to treatment after the first session. I even got to see the nerves the dentist had removed from my tooth! I would recommend this practice if you need a root canal.

Having attended the same dentist in Lewes for 55 years as NHS patient they went private when my last dentist retired so as I live in Seaford I chose Claremont Dental Practice. I was a bit nervous on my first visit but they were very friendly and professional.

Review titled Good practice, seen quickly
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Good service from the offset, receptionist/dental nurse was helpful in getting me an emergency appointment and a cancellation for my root cancel meaning I was not left in pain for too long. The root canal was carried out carefully and precisely and I was gratefully out of pain soon after.

I have had a troublesome tooth (pain lasting for a week or so everey few months) 2 previous dentists have looked at it, Xrayed, and declined to do any treatment, At Claremont the dentist took it on, and after 2 hours of painless drilling etc she cleared out the root canal and focus of inlammation, then put on a crown. several months later it I have had no problems, and no further pain
