  1. Review titled Excellent Dental Therapist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Colin Findlay - Posted on 04 September 2024

Delighted with treatment from by Dental Therapist for surface fillings just above the gum line. Great care taken to make the administration of gum numbing the least uncomfortable I have experienced over many years. A very reassuring and informative period of treatment.

  2. Review titled Excellent dental care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I have been an NHS patient at Cullompton Dental & Implant Centre for over 10 years and have always received excellent dental care from a hardworking team of dentists, dental nurses, and receptionists who have not hesitated to offer me evening appointments in order to get urgent work done. The practice is super busy, mishaps occasionally happen with appointment errors, and recently something was not quite right with their telephone system which was "line busy" for several days, for which apologies were given. A welcome refurbishment of the waiting room is currently in progress. I am pleased with the quality of care I receive and will continue to use this practice.

  3. Review titled Poor communication

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 July 2024

I was called to my appointment by a nurse who was unable to say my name. When I walked into the room it wasn't the dentist I was expecting. I wasn't told his name or why my dentist wasn't there. The nurse, obviously new didn't understand him, another nurse had to keep coming in and go and get the tools he needed. I won't be going back. I have been with the practice for almost ten years. The staff have completely changed.

  4. Review titled Real patience with a very nervous patient

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My dentist has started to build my trust in dentists again. If I need a injection they numb my gum for me first and I really appreciate the time and patience they give me as I had a lot of teeth removed as a child which kind of put me off for life, but I have great trust in my dentist as he tells me what he is doing every step of the way

  5. Review titled Very bad practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 September 2023

My daughter was supposed to be referred for braces in 2021. This was followed up at her last appointment in early 2023, where I was told the referral would definitely be made. As of August 2023 this still had not been done and following a phone call to the practice, and then the practice she was being referred to, this has only just gone through following our 3rd chase. This practice is shockingly bad, and if it wasn't for the fact you can't see an NHS dentist anywhere else, I'm sure they would have no patients!!

  6. Review titled Managed Badly

Rated 1 star out of 5

The room I was seen in, the floor was filthy, with bits of cotton wool everywhere, odd bits of machinery under a desk and general detritus everywhere, as well as behind the reception. The whole place looked like it hadnt seen a hoover in a while. They never seem to pick up the phone when I call to make or change a appointment, and when I mention it, they seem to not be bothered and don't even apologise! All the staff are miserable and surly, and obviously hate it there too, as a patient coming in i was made to feel like an inconvenience! The dentists themselves are very pushy and 'tell' you what treatment you should have, not suggest! All in all a shambles of a practice and I would go elsewhere if I could get another NHS dentist.

  7. Review titled Care & KIndness

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My nervousness regarding a tooth extraction was soon forgotten. I was amazed at how both the injections and even the extraction itself, was so painless. The dentist and was extremely gentle and caring. Would genuinely recommend this practice as the best.

  8. Review titled Poor customer service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Dental practice is difficult to get an appointment with. When I booked a check up 6 months in advance I discovered it was cancelled via a text message rather than a phone call. I then had to rebook via me calling the practice. It was cancelled as the dentist had decided to book a holiday after appointments had already been booked. This is not the first time this has happened. Finally got an appointment a month and a half later with no guarantee this will not be cancelled
