    Hurrah! I now have a bridge to fill a big gap in my teeth. I am learning to eat on that side again and feel more confident when I smile. Thank you to my dentist and the practice nurse. I would like to thank also a supportive administrator, who wrote to my dentist and made a call on my behalf. That was very helpful.

    The orthodontist who has treated both my children here seems to have a very old school way of treating. Mouth open, does what they believe is needed, no explanation, no kindness, no response to children’s discomfort and no answering questions. Sadly, the state of NHS dentistry means we have to put up with it. There is absolutely no way I would pay directly for the service received or recommend.

    I am an NHS patient with this dental surgery and am quite nervous re. visits to the dentist. After not going to the dentist for a while during the covid lockdown period I was very lucky to see a different dentist who is extremely kind and gentle with a very sympathetic and reassuring manner and who explains things very clearly and patiently. The dental nurse who assists this dentist is also very pleasant and kind. As a result I am a much less nervous patient and I am very happy with the dental care that I am receiving. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to others but I have to say that one thing that could be improved on is the issue with trying to telephone the dentist's...it is mostly impossible to get through as no one answers or calls you back if you leave a message. Other than this I am very satisfied with Damira Bank Buildings and the high standard of care given by my dentist and dental nurse.

    Since covid it’s been quite hard to get an appointment. If you do get one, it’s either going to be cancelled last minute or often rebook for another appointment hoping it won’t be cancelled again. Luckily after a number of cancellations and rebooking, finally get to see a dentist. Someone unfamiliar but accommodating. So the following appointment I had to have an extraction and dreading it but I was utterly surprise at how I was treated with kindness and he talked me through the procedure. Kept me calm all through the process. He was gentle and reassuring. Then came the dental nurse explaining the after care. I must say though that the people at reception is another level of coldness. Not friendly nor accommodating. It almost felt like they don’t want you there or they did not want to be there. It doesn’t cost a penny to be friendly and kind but some people have neither. That’s the sad part.

    My 10 and 8 year old enjoy coming here. They have no worries about getting their teeth checked. Loved the way the dentist explained to my 10 year old about braces and waiting for her milk teeth to all fall out. We also, as a family feel that the reception team are continuously friendly, trying to make appointments with your chosen time and offering suggestions. Excellent service.

    The experience I received from both behind the reception desk and the surgery itself was very warm and professional at the same time. Also good to see that there was no sign of those ineffectual Perspex screens or mask mandates - which no doubt is a help to the moral of the staff, as well as those patients who have properly informed themselves about such matters.

    Went through Invisalign over 9 months and each time I visited the dentist they were polite, efficient, professional and always friendly. Sometimes there were delays, but that has to be expected. Would recommend.
