It’s taken a few years (covid) for the practise to get there but it’s now a real pleasure to go to this dentist. I had an emergency just before Xmas & was able to pay to see a private dentist - perfect for me to get it sorted. I also now understand the difference between NHS & private service- so plan to switch as I can afford to pay.

I attended for the extraction of 2 adjacent lower right teeth, which had apical abscesses, having originally presented acutely 20 days earlier. The appointment started with an attempt to produce a branch trigeminal nerve block, but it was clear from my own personal experience, having had similar nerve blocks before, that the dentist had failed to inject the anaesthetic within the nerve sheath. She added several additional doses into the adjacent gum, but the anaesthesia was incomplete, although just about sufficient to remove the premolar tooth. She then attempted to remove the adjacent molar tooth, but the pain was excruciating. I would have expected her to have stepped back and considered why her attempted nerve block had failed, but instead she decided to refer me to the nearest Dental Hospital service. Fair enough, and a good fallback position, but it leaves me hanging on, having already waited since the last week in November. Who knows when this will be sorted out? She has in the past been a very caring dentist, and has a nice personality, but seems to be too easily flustered.

From the moment I walked in everyone was so friendly , i had two appointments and was seen earlier on both , the receptionist couldn't of been nicer , so welcoming and friendly she had lots going on but always smiling and courteous.

I would like to thank the dentist who has dealt with my most recent appointments. I appreciate that I saw the same dentist as previously I was seen by five different dentists (about one tooth) which was not satisfactory and resulted in some contradiction between dentists of my treatment.

My teeth were cleaned by a lovely lady, who was very efficient in what she was doing, they felt so clean when she had finished and she was very polite and had a very calming attitude.
