I made contact with this dentist for the first time last month after 8 years without seeing a dentist, I have had a fear of dentists for my whole life so even making the call was a daunting prospect which I have been putting off for way too long. My initial contact was a warm welcome and the person I spoke to was polite, professional and empathetic. I knew I needed to have an extraction which was confirmed by the dentist after my first visit. On the day of the extraction I was shaking like a leaf and dubious about the outcome. When entering the practice I was greeted by a warm welcome from the receptionist who was happy and charming as are all the staff that I’ve met. I’ve always been customer facing during my working life therefore I can spot when employees are happy to come to work. This creates an aura that transfers to patients. I was given numbing gel prior to the injection to ease the sensation of the needle which worked perfectly and the extraction went ahead without issues. My dentist was amazing and I’m so pleased I found both somewhere that I trust and feel comfortable. I’m by no means over the fear but I know I’m in safe hands with this practice. Thank you so much for what you’ve done so far and advance thanks for the further treatment I need to have. I just can’t fault them. Great work!

Have been several times to Damira during the last few weeks. Every time the staff have been friendly and professional. During my most recent appointment I had to have a tooth extraction, which I wasn’t looking forward to! The dentist put me at ease and even the injections weren’t as bad as I thought they would be! Before the procedure I asked questions and time was taken to respond thoroughly and put my mind at ease. The dentist checked out another tooth for me that I was worried about even though that wasn’t what the appointment was for, which I greatly appreciated. Aftercare was clearly explained. Next appointment booked in!

I don’t like dentists…well, visiting the dentists not the dentists personally! The reception staff were friendly; the dentist and dental nurse put me at ease. Friendly and professional.

Attended for a check up. Every time I’ve been seen it’s always a different dentist which I really don’t like. However the dentist I saw yesterday was excellent. He communicated exactly what he was doing as he examined my mouth and teeth which is a refreshing change from some of the others who just don’t say anything. I found him very helpful and I’d like to be seen by him again in the future. My experience of the practice is that they are really not interested in NHS patients at all. The paperwork to be completed prior to attending really makes this very clear as they are always going in about cosmetic procedures etc.

I saw the dentist who does the intermediate plan. He did my check up and told me I needed treatment. He understood my anxiety about this. Reassured me regarding the injection which is what my anxiety is about. Be laughed with me during the appointment and checked to make sure I was OK. The dental nurse did exactly the same. I haven't been to a dentist for 12 years due to the fear of being told I'd need an injection to have treatment. I have another 2 treatments booked in and am not anxious at all. Everyone in the practice from reception to dentist is amazing. Only down side if the dentist who does the intermediate plan only does one day a week. Which means if they don't have a time suitable for you. Your treatment is pushed back but you can get appointments within the week if you can go anytime :)

Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Nurse and Dentist were also friendly and put me at ease. Dentist clearly went through things with me. Overall a great experience, plus the added bonus of no stairs to climb in the surgery.

After trying nearly every dentist I rang damira at about 11:15 asking if they had emergency appointments and they gave me a NHS emergency appointment at 12. Dentist was good and gave me antibiotics And advice Will likely use them again for private treatment
