The service I received was very good. I was nervous at having to have a tooth extracted but the dentist was confident and straightforward and it put me at ease. There was no pain and the whole procedure was over relatively quickly.

Got seen 40 mins after the time slot. Poor customer service. When asking at reception they had to get a speak to the dentists. Overall over an hour was spent in the surgery for a ten minute appointment. Also their mother got taken off the surgery as she hadn’t been for 2 years due to covid and not been able to get an appointment. Only found out when calling up for an appointment. When asked I hadn’t been informed. They replied and said we have to many people on the system to worry about contacting people.

Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear of your experience with Dental Suite. Our dental team strives to see patients in a timely manner, unfortunately, there are occasions where emergencies arise causing appointments to be delayed. I apologise you were kept waiting for that length of time and the inconvenience this caused you. If, as an NHS patient, you have not attended for an appointment within a two year period, you lose your NHS place with that practice - This is an NHS Regulation and a policy across all NHS Practices. Unfortunately, due to covid, for a period of time, we were unable to offer routine dental check ups, and so we increased the 2 year time limit to four years. We really have tried to accommodate our patients. All our patients received automated emails to advise on how we were managing our patient recall appointments, and we acknowledge not all our patients updated their contact details with us and helped where we were able to. Our team are trying very hard to deliver an NHS dental service to our community and we are sorry we were not able to meet your expectations on this occasion. We would be very grateful to speak with you to learn more about your concern to help us improve our patient communication and experience. Accessibility is poor. Parking taken by staff, no hand rails on stair to get into the practice. My elderly father in law fell coming into the dentist. We completed the health screening atleast a few days before the appointment and upon arrival he was told they couldn't perform tooth extraction due to being a heart disease patient. They had all the information and couldn't notify before which is extremely poor. A waste of time, fuel and unnecessary to make arrangements to visit when it was cancelled. Service is substandard. The dentist also doesn't inform you what he's doing. Trying to take a tooth mould for dentures and he didn't tell my father in law what he was about to do, just said say ahh and he just poured liquid into his mouth. Made us both gag. No cleaning or rinsing. I had to ask the assistant for tissue afterwards, she simply handed a supermarket baby wipe! Avoid this if you can!

The premises are in the process of being upgraded, but we have never had a hand rail for the steps. I went for a composite filling and I needed 3 injections as I was experiencing pain when the drill was used on my tooth. The dentist seemed frustrated by this and not sympathetic at all. She is also unfriendly and shows no warmth to patients (my wife and children included).

Had issue with crown which had become detached. Receptionist was extremely help. Dentist was able to fit in short appointment to reattached crown. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Gave confidence.
